I purchased the WeCreat Vision 20W laser and have had mixed experiences with it. When it comes to drawing pictures or engraving, it works decently enough. However, I’ve run into serious issues when trying to cut. After about 15 minutes of use, the laser overheats and has to stop. There’s only about a 50/50 chance that it will start up again after cooling down. If it doesn’t, I have to restart the software and modify my design to continue where it left off. Sometimes, I even have to power off the laser completely and start all over. This overheating problem has been so frustrating that I haven't done much engraving or other projects lately because I'm focused on trying to get the cutting to finish properly. The room where I use it is well-ventilated, staying at around 75°F, and I have an external fume extractor attached. I’ve cleaned the laser lens and done regular maintenance, but the cutting issues continue. Overall, while it handles engraving okay, the overheating makes it difficult to rely on for cutting projects, and that's been a big downside for me. The attached photo is an example of something that will not finish without the laser overheating.
