Very happy with the video cam. It plugs and plays easily, no software needed on my PC Wind 10. The microphone is stereo and better quality than the onboard mike of the laptop. It rotates nicely and has a covering for the lens. It even has a tiny red light that goes on solid when in use.

I purchased this with my home-built desktop setup running on ubuntu 20.04. It works out of the box after plugging in USB. The quality of the video stream is very nice, loud speaker, and mic works fine (at least no coworker has complained on zoom yet). two niche thing to mention: - if your internet speed is not up there, this may crash your zoom calls or create lags. - Since the mic is integrated to camera, in zoom calls you have to turn on the camera to speak. If you just unmute yourself while keeping the camera off, you cannot use the mic.

Now that the lovely quarantine keeps us from attending church regularly, Zoom has entered our lives. We had no camera nor microphone on our computer so purchased this. It was easy to install, has a great picture and the mic works. We can no hear what's going on and also contribute if we want. It sits on top of the monitor and is easily knocked off but that was during a Zoom meeting on Christmas when I got carried away waving at everyone.

Since video calls are more than likely in these isolation times one needs to have a video camera for their computer. I like the fact this is a plug and play so I can remove it when I don't need it so I don't have to worry about it being turned on when I'm not paying attention or around. I've got all my cameras on my computers taped over and this I won't have to tape up. I sort of like the idea of having a bit to block the camera view it doesn't seem to remedy the issue of the microphone being able to be turned on without my knowing. It leaves me back to being able to unplug the device and not worry about being hacked.

When I got the camera VO was excited. It looks good. However the direction on how it mounts are a little weak. The on the installation. It is even weaker. It installed but there was little direction on how to access it or adjust the focus on etc. I had to look on line to figure out how to get it to work. The picture I would say is adequate. I do see some instability in the video. But it is very usable. I like the slide that you can block the camera and the internal microphone works really well. I have still been unable to figure out how to adjust the video quality to see if I could improve the video and zoom in more. For the price I would have expected better directions and better video quality.

I use this webcam for work meetings and I am very happy with it. Out of the box I just plugged it into my MacBook and it just worked. The cable quality could be better, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The wide angle lens includes a bit more background than my laptop webcam, but that is not a concern for me personally. Finally at a third of the cost of a Logitech with similar features I think this webcam is worth the investment. I only had it for less than a month so I can’t speak about the longevity at this time.
