I am really pleased with this purchase. I was about ready to go spend a lot more to get what I wanted, and I found this with a matching wallet. It's a much nicer feel than I would have expected for the money. My only gripes (and they are so nit picky it's ridiculous)...I would have preferred the wallet to have a snap portion with a place to flip out cards and IDs. The zipper is a little neater, though. The bag itself is maybe a half inch too short to zip with my planner binding side up (it's a 9×7 planner in a cover that is a bit bulky). I can squish it around the other way. Of course, not sure how much zipping I would do with the planner in it, but just a note. I was pleasantly surprised that what looked to be gray in the picture was more like a silver grey mettalic finish. Overall, I find this to be a lovely bag comparable to a much more expensive item I saw in my shopping.

About three years ago, I bought this really cute navy blue and white striped handbag at Target and after about a year and a half of faithful service, the cloth lining started to fall apart. Every fiber of my being wanted to buy a new handbag and replace it but since I couldn't find anything I liked, I painstakingly sewed the lining back into place and carried on using the purse until its state of disrepair was beyond anything my novice sewing skills were capable of fixing. This should indicate that I'm not the kind of person who just buys any handbag. I need it to have compartments. I need it to have a zipper that shields the purse's precious contents from the elements. I need it to be able to fit my Chromebook in the event that I'm traveling somewhere and need to bring it along. I need it to have functionality for both the typical workday and for weekend adventures. Lastly, I don't necessarily "need" it to match with most of my work clothes, but it's an added bonus when I can carry a handbag that makes me look effortlessly put together. And here it is. I can tell that this is a handbag that will last me a long time, and I won't need to get out the needle and thread to maintain it. It looks sharp, it's sturdy, it fits everything, and the color I purchased even included a matching wallet. It was a big leap for me to buy a handbag without being able to have that tactile in-store "yes this will work for me" experience so if you're the kind of person who waffles back and forth about buying a handbag sight unseen via an online retailer, worry no more. This is the one. However, a word of caution: If you're looking for something relatively small, this isn't it. This is a carry-everything-get-the-job-done-and-be-practical-and-cute-at-the-same-time type of handbag so if you're looking for something a little more portable, like for a night out, I'd recommend picking a style that includes the matching wallet so you can use it as a wristlet.

The wallet that came with it had a broken zipper from the start and I thought: No big deal, I will just put a rubber band on to close it. This works but several months later I am tired of that and always lose the rubber band! 😞 wish I could find a wallet I like!

So a purse is a very important purchase for me so I only get to buy one a year well I got some birthday money and I needed a new purse and I’m not leaving the house because I have 34 year old son home on hospice care and I’m scared to death of the coronavirus so I thought I buy everything else at amazon let try a purse I just knew in my heart that there could be one way I’d pick a purse big enough that I would like.Well even with everything moving slow delivery was prompt and on time I opened the purse a day later after I sprayed everything down then waited 24 hours to make sure no Corona was on package I opened and I love it I couldn’t have made a better selection at the stores it is one of my best purchase it is large and the best thing about it is the whole purse zips close a very important factor for me and then when I opened the purse there was another bonus inside a pink wallet to match the purse I ordered two purse on this day because I just knew neither one was going to work for me but I love them both and the cost was great I still have 30.00 left out of my birthday money to spend on something else so I would recommend making this purchase if you like a good looking purse with lots of room and a durable zipper I love my new purses
