Exactly as the title says. It does what it needs to do, but it will fall apart fairly quickly. If you need a disposable umbrella for a short time, get this. If you want it to last through a few rainy days, go elsewhere.

Its description is what I wanted. Unfortunately, when I pushed the button to open it, the upper half (with the umbrella) shot up in the air --- completely detached from the lower half of the shaft.

I bought this umbrella to keep in my bag for school, and it seems to be small enough (though larger than I imagined) to serve this purpose. It will automatically open at the press of a [rather stiff] button on the handle, giving me enough protection from the rain to keep both me and my bookbag out of the rain. This umbrella lacks an auto-close feature, so you'll have to close it by hand. This umbrella may not be the best out there, but I'd say it's still a steal for the price at which it's being offered. ... show more
