This has been fun for my whole family! I ended up ordering a higher end handheld for myself after my daughter decided this was her “game girl” and took possession of it! Lol! This plays thousands of retro games on systems up to ps1. Has been very durable, has an excellent battery life, charges quickly and renders games beautifully on a device that is very much like a game boy sp. games are easily added to the sd card from PC. You can’t ask for much more! The price is a fraction of the name brand emulation handhelds. Definitely worth it!

Awesome little handheld emulator. Not the most powerful hardware, and the face buttons could be better, but for the price I can't fault it for its shortcomings. This things perfect for playing nes up through gba games on the go.

For the price, it’s a great little device. It looks about the same as a GameBoy Advance SP, but it’s a bit smaller and the materials feel cheaper. This device is a PowKiddy V90 even though that’s not mentioned in the description. Battery life is maybe 2-2.5 hours but the battery is removable so you can swap it out if you can find extras. The screen is good enough but not excellent. Good value for the money though. The clamshell form is easy to fit in a pocket.

The Sound stop working completely within 2 & 1/2 weeks of owning it!? I mean give me a break what a piece of junk plus it’s flimsy doesn’t have proper protection for the screen sometimes it doesn’t even turn on it’s complete garbage and I contacted the seller (who’s in China btw!) to replace or refund my money and they did absolutely nothing in fact they could have cared less so I’m going to contact Amazon and I’m going to see to it that they are terminated on Amazon for good and I’ll be getting all of my money back as well.

What's amazing is that something that costs 100's of dollars and 20 or more for a single game back in the 80/s/90's, for around 50 bucks you can have loaded with 2,000 games? Wow has time/tech come a long way. Games all seem to work (did not test them all) but due to the options navigation can be a bit tricky with what buttons to use when (not a simple select, back, next set up) but knowing what A does and B, and C. Other than that it's great, my kid loves it, and will play a different game, each day for the next 10 years or so. I also hacked it with the online mod (which took a while, I'm not a tech person) but did manage to create a backup chip with the alternate software (which has even more games). Worth the price. I have not needed customer service so can't comment on that, but would not hesitate to buy this brand, from this seller again

LIKES: - Discounted price when purchased - Clamshell design…not many (if any) other similar handhelds like this at the lower price point - Custom firmware can be installed (just use a different micro sd card to not lose original UI/firmware) - Yes, the color I received is indeed RED, just as the product title stated…Even though all the photos show the orange one. - Many games preinstalled and more can be added DISLIKES: - It already looks pretty cheap in the photos and sure enough it looks and feels cheaper in person. Try to get the BLACK V90 if you can. Maybe it will be able to hide the cheapness of the plastic more. - ALL THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE BUBBLY SCREEN ARE TRUE! My bubbly screen even came with lint/sticky gunk under it, which made the bubbles persistently come back even after pushing the bubbles to the sides/corners. - The screen protector is tucked under the bezel all the way around. To open the bezel, get ready to do battle with 6 sticky mini rubber nubs that cover the screws first. - Since the plastic housing feels so cheap, I would not recommend forcing the bezel to open too widely…Once you remove the 6 screws, there should be a big enough opening for the screen to slide out. When it does, then you can peel off the flimsy bubbly plastic from the slightly thicker plastic screen. ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS: - Prior to purchasing the V90, I also bought the Q90 as well as the X39. All of these are Powkiddy branded. Imo this clamshell V90 is the cheapest looking/feeling one out of the 3. - The V90 and Q90 share the same UI/firmware/software options, etc. - For longer periods of playtime, both the Q90 and X39 are more comfortable than the narrower clamshell V90 - For travel, I’d be more comfortable throwing the V90 in a bag over the non-clamshell Q90 and X39. BUT, I still wouldn’t be to confident that the cheap plastic of the V90 would be able to withstand much abuse…Yeah, yeah, it was just $40. Best of luck and hope this helps!

Its battery lasts forever, perfect for long trips. It has hundreds of fantastic fan favorite titles, its screen is great too. The only bad part about it (which isn't that bad of an issue) is the audio its very electronic and buzzy but you don't really need audio for any of the games.
