Very disappointed in the quality of the product. Really not durable to stand on even at 230 Lbs. as this results in the drawer being difficult to close. Also, the slides on the drawer in my opinion extremely weak or cheaply made. I like the box concept but, not a fan in the quality. In my opinion it's not worth the money!!! I'd return it but, what a hassle due to the weight and inconvenience... ... show more

    • Sturdy storage weighs 200lbs+ and rattles but good value.
Very well made with clean welds. Removable dividers let you customize the interior to fit your stuff. It's an electrician's dream. The unit weighs over 200 lbs but to install you can use a 1/2" ratchet to remove the bump stops and separate the drawer from the frame, pull the rollers, and then two people can easily lift each piece separately and put it back together in place. Ideally, you should bolt this down with the supplied brackets and fittings. I found that two criss-crossed ratchet straps also worked well with my SUV install. It's not perfect (what is) but costs a third of what a similar unit from TruckVault would so bang for the buck is most definitely there. ... show more

    • Sturdy and roomy
I just replaced an aluminum tool drawer with this one. What a world of difference. I only wish the latch would self latch on closing. Guess i could grind a bit on latch but for now im happy

    • It doesn't roll as smoothly as it should. Especially empty.
Installation was easy using the provided hardware, but pulling out and pushing in the empty drawer once installed was quite disappointing. It was clunky and awkward rolling. It was like there was only one set of rollers up in the front and no bearings or anything of the such to help it roll easier. If that's the case, I don't see how it will last, or how you can possibly put 300lbs worth of materials inside it and easily pull it open or push it closed. Also, the latch/striker is a square and you have to hold the button in while closing the drawer in order to fully close the drawer. If the striker was tapered at the top, it would close without having to hold the button down. Not really very user friendly and not sure why it's designed that way, but it's a pain to have to hold the button down to close it completely. ... show more

Not sure if this happened before shipment or during shipment but nevertheless it arrived today damaged. My husband made it work and loves it. Make his job as an Electrician much easier. Just sad it arrived damaged for the cost!

It's solid, it fits & exceptional craftsmanship. But it sits up on 2" cross rails making drawer depth less than 6", perfect for electricians & plumbers. For the rest of the trades another inch or 2 makes a big difference, our tools are bulkier. I'm an engineer turned contractor & was in process of designing a similar box when I bought 2 of these. I'm inclined to think 3/4" tube steel could replace their 2" rails? I just want bigger but this is a cool tool box. ... show more
