The nearest Jiu-jitsu classes are 35 miles from where I live. So a buddy and I bought some of these so we can practice at home. Thick, rugged and easy to assemble and store. They work great and are a great value for the money.

My daughters use this mat for gymnastics/dance practice at home. I love that it is easy for them to fold out/back up and is lightweight enough for them to grab the handles and carry it to put it away (7 and 5 years old). I got a 5-folded version - it is very easy to pack, move around or roll out. The thickness and texture are suitable for any knee-down type of exercise. I would not comment on durability yet because I had this mat for only a month.

    • Perfect for practicing Taekwondo at home

I bought two of these to as a floor cover when practicing Taekwondo with my family. It works great. The velcro holding the mats together is very strong. The foam density is great too. At just over 300lbs when I started using these mats, they have provided good support and protection when I drop down on a knee. Working through forms and kicks, the mats are stable and I don’t worry they will rip. That goes for when I have them combined or using just one. Also being a big guy it hurts my back and joints to do sit-ups, push-up, yoga stretches, etc. when just on carpet. These mats have been great. I don’t feel like I’m grinding my spine, hips, elbows and knees. The foam they use is dense enough to handle my weight. And my kids love them too. Have two of them let me set them up as part of an indoor obstacle course for them to climb through or jump/over and on with other stuff like a large foam cube, couch, and ottoman.
