Made two different orders of these tiles. Each order matched the other pieces in the order, However... the orders did not match each other. The notches were just off enough that we were not able to expand our current play area with a new batch. The second batch was 1/2" smaller in size per tile (23-1/2" x 23-1/2") instead of full 24". ... show more

The 3/8 Inch Thick mat by We Sell Mats does absolute wonders for a drafty rustic cottage floor. My heating bill has gone down significantly as this flooring material is a great insulator and covers up imperfections in the floor. My feet are so very happy now and i don't need slippers. when i get to the place on my floor where the mat is missing, my feet and whole body go "EEEEE YUCK" 1)This mat is easy to clean. 2)It has no smell. 3)my 8 Cats don't have any desire to pee on it. 4) super durable. My cats use one small section of it as a scratching post and it is holding up very, very well in that place. It has seen many months of scratching and it still looks like it has years left to live. the scratched area blends in with the unscratched area and is barely noticeable. 5) The quality of this mat is much better than the cheap versions you can find in every big box store. and once installed, the mildly bumpy texture almost mimics a very fine woven Berber carpet. (almost) 6) flooring like this is so good for the joints and feet of all living creatures. 7) when it gets wet it does not get slippery. 8) will help reduce echo's and sound within the room. 9) most importantly this mat is the least toxic amongst typical floor coverings of this nature so i don't worry about poisoning my indoor air. as an exercise mat: 1)because it is soft yet firm, heavy equipment can be put on it without too much worry of crushing or deforming. 2)once the edges are joined they form a good fit virtually invisible. never need to worry about tripping. 3) it will not grab and hold a bare foot in a firm place, rather the foot will creep and slide over the surface so certain exercises just don't work on this mat. 4) this mat is too hard/thin to do any movements that would require full body weight on bended knee, but that is my own personal comfort level and everyone is different. we sell mats is very consistent. the reviewers who don't think their mats fit are simply not taking the time to really look and turn the mat to the correct edge. Putting it together requires thought and attention. As i am using this matting as a wall to wall solution i have noticed that over several months the mat seems to be growing? in some places it has become longer than when i first installed it by about 2 inches creating gaps, and humps that no longer interconnect( usually at the end of a high traffic area or near a wall that is not squared, with a floor that is not level.) . I am sure that this problem is unlikely to happen on a proper floor in a modern home. these tiles have paid for themselves several times over. I love them! ... show more

The mats themselves are actually pretty good, especially for the price. My issue is that the company markets these as "non toxic" but also has a Prop 65 warning. I e-mailed the company for clarification of exactly which chemicals in these products pertain to the Prop 65 warning, but I was not given a reply. It's like formamide, which is a common chemical used in the production of EVA foam mats, and in general is not terribly harmful in the amounts that the product contains, but the fact that the company does not wish to provide this information makes me a bit concerned with what else could be in them. I would steer clear until they publish a bit more information. ... show more

First off, I’ve tried expensive ABC’s mats, I regretted day one, the kids pulled the letters apart & and the tiles. They chewed my alphabet and it was way too tempting to leave be. I tossed them and never looked back. So that’s how I came to try this reluctantly. I didn’t see much of a difference but now it’s a no brainer. These mats were very easy to “install”, cleans extremely well and looks just great. We put the texture side up, just out of preference. It stands up to my kids, animals and the daycare. Will be repurchasing to expand it but I wanted to try the 12 tiles before purchasing a higher amount. I also only used the edges at first as in one of my photos but my kids kept undoing them so we just tossed them. Which I personally preferred the rough edgy look anyways. ... show more

I bought this flooring for my dog lounge/play area. I wanted something that the dogs can play on and not damage up the original flooring underneath (hardwood). I also didnt want my dogs to hurt their joints slipping and sliding on the hard wood floor. Most of my dog clients have high energy, love to roll around, rough play with each other and chase the cat and still have a flat hard surface to do their doggie activities. This idea was cost effective within my budget and I have not been disappointed yet. Cleaning: Dogs enjoy sleeping, playing etc in smelly areas and boy does the area get dirty. From little bodily function accidents, to food spills, paws bringing in mud, and dirt from outside play you name it this flooring takes a beating. What i like about the flooring is that it doesn't omit funky smells even though it gets filthy after 4 or 5 doggy boarding parties, I like that. My first flooring from the same company lasted for 2 years (i think). It can take all the cleansers you have to use on it cause it will need it. It doesnt break down fast after cleaning it. Make sure to dry or air dry before putting it back down on the floor or you will slip. NOT STURDY WHEN WET you will slip! So overall if my dogs can beat this flooring up (They are rough) then it can handle the children, working out on it for the price i was pleased. ... show more
