    • Never Buy Ordinary Puppy Pads Again!

I can see where this product would be great for grandkids and grandparents alike, especially at night time. However, we have 6 dogs, 3 of which still use pee pads (even though they're all seniors). We were changing the old pads 4-6 times a day. Spending $35 for 100 pads that didn't last long for 3 dogs was getting old, especially since the price keeps increasing every time we purchase pads. I saw the Improvia ad and decided to give it a chance. I bought the pack of 6 and with 3 dogs we wash a load of 3 pads about twice a week. They are super absorbent and when the dogs pee a lot on one end, I rotate the pad around so they can get the other side evenly. We place the pad in a large dog crate tray, which keeps the pad in place. I've only washed two loads of the Improvia pads so far, but I don't think we'll be buying the old pads anymore. I should get at least a year out of the Improvia pads, so $$$ saved, for sure! Great company follow-up, too. ... show more

Okay, this is not one of those spoof reviews... I am actually using these to potty train my 2-year-old iguana. He is free-roaming in my studio apartment, and picked a spot on my kitchen floor to do his business. If you know anything about caring for iguanas, you know that there is a LOT of liquid involved. These are amazingly absorbent, and make such a difference in cleanup. Right now, my whole floor is covered in them in the smallest size available (18"x24"), with the hope of scaling back to one pad that I can pick it up when he's done, but he's still getting comfortable going on the pads themselves. They are really, really well-made, and my first thought when I saw them was that these would have been so much more comfortable and convenient when caring for relatives in hospice. They are low-profile, but have some weight to them so they lay flat right away, unlike the paper disposable ones, and the fabric is also soft and smooth. It wouldn't stick to the skin or chafe it. Plus, they are easy to wash and therefore WAY more eco-conscious and economic. Oh, and I scanned the QR code on the bag and found out it's a family-owned business, not some fly-by-night alphabet soup trying to make a quick buck and disappear. My dog has been having issues with incontinence for the past couple of months and it has been a big challenge. We were using the disposable mats, but she hated the texture of them and would move them off of her bed on the couch. She doesn’t seem to mind the texture of these, and they work so well! If she pees a lot, there will be a damp spot, but nothing like with the disposable mats. I also love that these are washable, and can be reused, seemingly indefinitely! I bought instead of six so we can switch them out as needed instead of having to wash every time. It will probably save us a good bit of money in the long run, and I don’t have to feel guilty about throwing away a bunch of pads every day! ... show more

I'm an RN and recalled using a similar product in the hospital in the past. I was struggling to keep up with extra laundry from our elderly great dane's incontinence, sometimes 5 loads per day. I was using waterproof mattress protectors and they take forever to dry. I bought the medium and large sizes of these pads. They are fantastic quality, wash and dry easily and absorb well with no leak through. Puppy pads were useless to us because none are designed for great dane sized bladders and hospital grade chux (blue pads) all tore or leaked after they became wet and she stood up on them to exit her bed. The quality, sewing, absorbancy, coverage area, comfortable feel and ease of care make this a top product in my opinion. I will definitely buy again! ... show more

    • Great For Puppy Potty Training

I purchased a total of 10 pads so far and have used and washed them for approx 3 weeks. So far, there is no remaining odor after washing (I wash warm water with detergent and white vinegar). What is nice is that you are able to see the wet spot where puppy has pottied, but it also soaks in so doesn’t get puppy wet if you don’t catch it right away. And so far, nothing has leaked through to the floor. If puppy doesn’t potty train soon, I will probably be buying another 6-pack. I cannot comment how these perform for human incontinence, but for puppy potty training, we are very satisfied with our purchase. ... show more

I was losing my mind having to wash bed sheets and dealing with it in the middle of the night with my kid . The bed has a mattress protector but that doesn’t dry quick so it was always a mess . I found these on Amazon and decided to try and alleluia! I put these on top of the fitted sheet so if my kid has an accident I just take it off and put on the extra one ( I bought a two pack ) and they dry super quick and keep our sheets dry ! ... show more

They are quite effective. I use these for the care of loved one and they do as promised. Their texture is smooth, but somewhat firm. Though they are thin, they have just the right amount of thickness to provide good absorbency. Each pad comes stitched nice at the edges; the green side faces up and blue side goes on the mattress. The size I ordered (34" X 52") provides nice coverage for a twin sized bed and the texture of the pad makes sure that the pad doesn't budge once placed. To gauge absorbency, I placed one for 1-3 weeks and about the 2nd week, I pulled it to wash. There was very little moisture when I checked it. Popped it in the washing machine on the 'hand wash' setting. I followed the care instructions about drying on low, but I also let it air dry for a few minutes for a more thorough dry. I'm pleased with them. They provide solid protection for bedding and the material's durable (no lint or fuzz so far from washing). ... show more
