These pads are just what I was looking for. They are really well made and the fabric is not rough or uncomfortable - so soft. These pads come in many sizes and can be used for a lot of different needs. The 34x36 size I bought is great for putting on the bed to protect sheets. It does not slide around and stays put. They are thick enough and do the job of absorbing moisture. I was pleased to see how quickly they dry out. Come out of the wash looking good. I think the price was right considering I used a $5 off coupon. In the long run, having enough of these pads to change them when needed will save me a lot of money over spending money so often for the thin pads with plastic underneath.     • STRONG CHEMICAL ODOR

Purchased this product for an incontinent relative. The pads were quality made and provided great coverage. However, they have a very strong chemical odor that could be detected prior to opening the package it arrived in. I washed them with baking soda and the odor is still present. I will hang them outside for a couple of days to see if it helps. If not, I will be forced to return them. It should be noted that I am unable to comment on the moisture retention or its slip proof because I’m unable to use them at this time. **UPDATE: I was successful with removing the strong chemical order from the pads. I pre-soaked them overnight in baking soda and washed them 4 consecutive times with Pyrex advance oxi and let them air dry outside. I strongly believe that the manufacturer should remove this odor prior to selling them. I won’t order these again. ... show more

These pads are excellent! For several months I had an indwelling foley catheter. At night I would place a pad on the bed and sleep on top of the pad, this was to absorb the urine as occasionally the line connecting to the urine collection bag would separate from the leg catheter plug/fitting. Pads hold a lot of liquid, never once did the urine soak through the pad to the bed. Kept the bed dry! I also used one on the floor below the urine bag to absorb any leakage/spills. Bag leaked the entire contents (once) and the floor pad absorbs all of the urine, none soaking through to floor carpet. After that incident I placed urine bag in a bucket. These work great, I don't think you will be disappointed. They absorb a lot of liquid with no leak through! ... show more

I ordered these for my elderly dog who would have accidents on furniture. They made it possible for her to sleep in the bed. They are very absorbent, wash easily, and are soft. So much better than plastic sheets.
