Does everything I need to have at my desk. leaving my mouse, double monitors, network cable plugged in with just one wire to connect to my laptop. In the instructions it says it won’t fully power a laptop with 130w demands, but my laptop does and I noticed no issue when rendering today which is the highest performance need I throw at it. Only negative I have to say about it is the plug that goes into the laptop is big, very long and a ridged wire makes it necessary for me to re arrange my work station. This works well, is effective, and allows me to use my laptop with minimal cord swapping. I have two of these, one at home, and one at the office, and I only need to plug in one cable to gain access to power and all accessories. Pretty simple to setup, too. I've seen comments about docks like: "overpriced and not needed since you can plug many of the accessories directly into a laptop's ports. Here's my reply: 1. Every time you plug in a cable, you wear the connection a bit. Eventually, the plug will fail. By reducing the # of times you plug/unplug items, you're enhancing your equipment's life. 2. Desk cleanliness. One can generally setup their desk with less cables lying around. 3. Laptop placement is easier. One cable means you can generally put your laptop where you want, without worrying whether your cables are long enough. Want to change it up? Easy enough to move your laptop with its one cable, rather than a laptop that has 7 plugged into it! 4. Don't need to lug power supplies everywhere! I rarely take my power supply anywhere, since I use my docks for power at home and at the office. This package is nice as it includes cables that other docks do not include.

Even though it is a renewed product, it came well-packaged and looked practically brand new. Setup was plug-and-play with my Dell XPS and instantly recognized dual monitors with zero hassle. This Thunderbolt docking station is a high quality renewed product. I was satisfied with the visual appearance, with only a few minor scuffs. The dock comes with a built in thunderbolt cable so you're limited to a fixed length but I did not have any issues placing it on my desk and connecting it with my Dell inspiron laptop. The dock offers amazing functionality, with a thunderbolt port in the back for connecting other thunderbolt devices. On the front, the two USB-C and USB-A ports are very convenient to have. I only tested it with one external display but it worked flawlessly. My laptop requires 130W of power which this dock's 180W power supply was more than capable of. The dock power button also does a great job of allowing to wake or put the machine to sleep. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the dock and the accessories included in the package.

I already have one of these in my office and just swapped it out for this one. I had to reboot my Macbook Air in order for the ethernet to be picked up but it otherwise works exactly the same. Gigabit ethernet is nice, the video output options are great and it does 1440@120hz without issue. These dell docks are the best thunderbolt docks you can get for both Mac and PC. They just work.
