I moved from a place where 25% is considered high humidity to the deep south, where the indoor humidity was averaging about 74% with the A/C running. I found myself turning the A/C down when it was really the humidity that was making me uncomfortable. Enter this little Waykar unit, which keeps me in the low 50s and high 40s consistently. Whew! The first unit I received leaked, but customer service was great. They even agreed to send the replacement before I returned the original so I didn't have to miss any dehumidifying. It’s shocking how much moisture it pulls from the air. I have to empty it three or four times per day. It comes with a hose, which you can run into a sink or bucket too. All in all this is a great little unit. It’s small, not too noisy, sleek, modern looking, very efficient and it gets the job done.

I got this to use in my finished basement. It is the only part of the house that still experiences issues with humidity and small leaks when it rains particularly hard. Having an open sump pump in the unfinished part probably doesn't help. So this was necessary. I wanted something that would collect significant amounts of water but use less power and make less noise than the ones I use on water damage jobs. The industrial-strength type of dehumidifier was a bit overkill for the daily use I intend to use this unit for. This dehumidifier removes up to 34 pints of water per day. The build quality is excellent. Everything looks and feels as though it was manufactured well using high-quality materials. Another perk of this particular model is its 2025 Energy Star rating. That way, I can leave this running without incurring a meter charge. The dehumidifier has great water removal power, and I noticed a difference in the relative humidity RH shortly after plugging it in. It doesn't weigh too much and is easy for one person to move around, thanks to the design with wheels. I really appreciate the sound-dampening design. We use our basement to watch movies on the big TV, and this dehumidifier runs very quietly. For the price, this is an excellent value. I recommend.

This is working nicely! We have it in our basement which is sectioned off in 4 parts but it manages to get to each room and the humidity is going down nicely! We had to add our own hose so that it would empty out into the subpump area but that is working very well. It is quiet and doesn't leak. The timer to turn it off is very easy to work which is convenient so that we don't need to go down into the basement at night to turn it off.

This dehumidifier works really well. It collects water efficiently and brings the humidity down quickly. The water tank is large, so I can empty it less frequently even after collecting a lot of moisture. It also has wheels, which makes it easy to move around the house, and it runs quietly. It also has a timer that I can set it up. The vent direction can be adjusted, which is very convenient. I’m so satisfied with this product that I ended up buying a second one. Highly recommended!

This little unit is of very good quality and performs well. The tank is a bit small but if you can put it to drain this is a little power house for sure. Even with its compact size it does a great job. Located in a damp basement this sucks the water from the air and maintains a very good 40% humidity without a problem. Compared to big box store units this will equally perform and more affordable.

I bought this to use in my ~250 sqft bedroom that's been getting humid this summer (in the 70% RH range). I had bought a small 50oz unit previously that was advertised as being suitable up to 1000 sqft but it barely made a dent so I upgraded to this one and this works fine to keep humidity down in the 50s. My biggest complaint is how it sounds. I specifically got this one because it had the lowest advertised dB I could find with this size unit and it is overall more quiet than the 35 pint Midea dehumidifier I have on my main floor but while the Midea is a very white noisy sound where you just hear the steady fan/motor, this one's compressor makes very annoying sloshing and crackling sounds that are not as good for sleeping as white noise. I also wish it had a sleep mode that shut the light indicators off. I have an air purifier that does that but doesn't seem common in dehumidifiers. The unit is very small overall, probably a third of the size of my Midea with the same dehumidification capacity. The downside of that is that the tank is super small as well. I have to empty it about twice a day. I do like that the tank has a lid to prevent spillage which the Midea does not. Another pro is that this seems to have some of the lowest electricity usage out of the units with this capacity. I haven't measured it, just going by what's listed in the specs. TLDR: I wouldn't recommend it to use while sleeping due to the sound but overall a decent product.
