I ordered this flat iron for my wife, and as soon she used first time, she loved it! She says that it has the perfect size and weight, so is super easy to use and is quite balanced. With 6 levels of adjustment for temperature, she can ‘mod’ the perfect heat to apply to her hair, (although a little bit awkward the location of temperature controls, but I guess is that they’re placed inside to avoid accidentally change the settings when used). The swivel cord feature included in this device is a big improvement compared from other similar hair-straightener devices as it avoids getting the cord tangled so it won’t be damaged after some use. Also, it comes in a nice box and includes a bag to storage. Overall, an excellent quality made product, that heats up fast and includes clever features that adds versatility, and due to its size and lightweight is very practical to pack for travel. This pink hair iron has wider 1.2” titanium plates, that helps glide hair for straightening. Apparently the titanium plates reduce friction by 70%, leading to 3X smoother surfaces and 30% more even heating. Pretty nice stats. Able to straighten and smooth hair with one pass. Also gave it a whirl for softer waves, and works nicely. Just check some videos to know how to bend and twist. The features are pretty standard with: - 10-second heat setting - Heats up to 480℉ in 30 seconds - 6 Temp Settings from 300 to 480℉ Priced $60 at time of order, and now $40 at time of review. Comes in a nice black branded box, a storage bag, and a black heat resistant glove. I am very impressed with the quality of this flat iron. The plates on this are gold colored and are equipped with advanced physical titanium. My hair comes out shiny and glossy with this flat iron. I used it also to add a bit of wave to my ends instead of going straight. It works well for various styles. It has a swivel cord to prevent the cords from getting tangled. There are 6 adjustable heat settings ranging from 300 to 480 degrees. The controls are on the inside of this iron below the plates. It included a thin black glove to protect your hand and fingers from heat, and also a black bag to keep it in. Keep the instructions, they show how to use and also how to lock the plates together for storage and travel. Oh! And it comes in a heavy black box that closes magnetically. Very nice flat iron. Right now they are offering 30% off the price that would make this a really great deal a $41.99 Highly recommend this wavytalk flat iron!

I have pretty high expectations for a 60 dollar hair straightener from a no-name brand. Unfortunately this product didn't meet those expectations. The biggest issue is the design - specifically where the controls are placed. It's on the INSIDE of the straightener. Even when the item is cold, this is annoying. But when it's heated up this is just plain hazardous.

I have been using Conair hair straighteners forever and have been happy with them! I actually ordered this one to keep in my suitcase (I HATE forgetting my straightener on trips as I have hair that requires regular straightening!). BUT... after using this one, the ol' Conair is going in the suitcase and this has become my new full time straightener! It heats up really fast, like 15s. I only put it on the 2nd highest heat setting and it works great for me, without over drying or damaging my hair. It has really good clamp force without having to squeeze it closed much at all. It also ahs a feature that allows the straightener to lock in the shut position when not in use. What I really love that I do not have to make as many passes over my hair to get it straight and smooth, so it is actually a bit quicker for me to straighten my very thick hair! And, it seems to sty smooth and straight, even the next day (whereas I often have to straighten again the next day). So, overall, I am pleased with this straightener!!

The iron flattens hair pretty well and heats up good. My hair is very thin and not much which was easy to use and fast but in my daughters thicker hair ir took more time and not as effective.
