This is not a light color at all. It's exactly what we were looking for. Next it doesn't require any tools to assemble it. However it does require patience and an understanding that the rails matter. Making sure it is centered will help with assembly. The over sized part I think is okay. However to me it feels narrow on the seat imo. Now the weight is heavy and the leather is really good. This is really "large" quality made leather chair. It arrived in three boxes, containing seat and other parts. The assembly process was very intuitive even without reading manual. The parts slide in the rails so no tools are required. When assembled, they appear massive and really oversized compared to other chairs we have. The look and feel is "movie theater" style, and cup holders confirm that. The cushions are made from polyurethane foam, and they are not pillow-soft, and the armrests are not thick and pillow-style. They are probably best for heavier people. On scale of 10, I would rate seating comfort as 8, thus 4 stars. But they are good enough for watching TV or having a nap, and were the best out of Amazon offerings. ... show more

I have had the chair since late may, a little more than 3 months. It is a solid chair with firm cushioning--Some may think too firm, but I like it. The electric motors are quiet and have been reliable. I like being able to independently adjust the headrest and I like pressing a single button to return the chair to the start position.
