The Mid Century Accent Chair by Watson & Whitely is a great chair to have around. Not only for its hansom appearance, but also for its comfort while chatting, watching TV or even reading a book. All of this combined with its easy assemble, make this chair a worthy consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – This chair looks and feels like it’s well made out of quality materials. I’d put it in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for accent chairs and guess it should hold up very well over time. II. Usability – I have found this chair to be very comfortable to sit in, even for extended periods. With a large amount of cushion in the bottom and back, it’ll keep most people comfortable. The faux leather looks nice, fairly real and is easy to clean/care for. The arm rests are made from rubber wood, that’s attractive and very durable. It provides a very sturdy and solid stance. The assemble was easy and didn’t take long at all, most everyone could do it. If your concerned about the assemble, the 2nd video on this add shows what’s needed. Overall, this has been a great addition to the house, by providing an attractive, solid and comfortable seat that not only accents the beauty, but also adds functionality. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. This item is not welded as well! The first piece I try to install first measurements are off second it’s welded in an angle and it’s not even straight. The metal pieces were already chipped and scratched as well as wooden handles. Look like it was used and repackaged. How do you sell an item without try to assemble it yourself or put used parts in a package and send it to customers! It is absolutely waste of money and time on a defective item which is useless. Impossible to assemble and made very carelessly

Ordered this chair for my living room. It is super handsome and well padded. I added a footstool to make a great tv watching spot. My 6’4” and 5’11” sons find it just as comfy as my 5’2” sister. I was able to assemble all by myself with the included directions. I will say that the kit was missing one of the shorter screws but it was a minor inconvenience as I was able to substitute one of the longer ones and it held just fine. Definitely a 5 star chair.

The first one they sent me couldn’t be assembled due to the welds not lining up correctly. Like a different reviewer pointed out - welds on the chair were off by roughly 1/8 inch. I requested a replacement and got a replacement sent out within 2 days. Now when I received the replacement, I immediately realized it had the exact same problem. I decided to try fixing it with a crowbar - putting some pressure on the frame to get the parts lining up correctly and as you can see it worked. Once assembled it’s a beautiful, sturdy chair. I just hope the company sees my review and does something about the units that have alignment issues in the metal frame. With both the units I received it was mainly the front two legs that have the alignment issues. If the company fixed that issue I think this chair would be a 5/5 item because aside from assembly issues it’s really nice quality for the price paid.

This chair has a sleek, minimalist style while still being inviting and comfortable. The cushions are thick and comfortable, but the chair isn't overly bulky by an means. It's a nice combination of styles. The saddle brown leather is smooth and soft, the frame is lean and sturdy. The chair fit in perfectly with everything in my living room, which is done in brown leathers and warm wood tones. I'm so pleased with it, especially because assembly was easy and once together it feels so solid. A few months ago I ordered one of the new Martha Stewart brown leather chairs (that cost quite a bit more than this one) and it looked so good, but one of the legs broke out from under it within a month. After inspecting it further, it was due to loose screws in a particle board frame. Terrible build design. I would have never expected such cheap workmanship from the Martha Stewart company, but now I know better. This chair has a metal frame which is so much better.

Peices don't fit together easily. After 2 hours and tons of paint chips we gave up. Had multiple people working on one chair. Triple checked everything was in the right spot. Also the screws get stripped extremely easily.

I’ve gotten quite a bit of furniture from Amazon over the past 2 years and this has to be some of the highest quality. It was so easy to put together and it’s made so well! Fabric is soft and does not look cheap at all. This is closer to CB2 quality. As for comfort, it’s actually pretty cozy which is very hard to find furniture that’s actually comfortable while being beautiful at the same time. I would definitely recommend this chair!
