As an athletic trainer who covered outdoor sports in the Pacific Northwest during rainy season, this boot cover has been a savior. I tore a couple ligaments in my ankle and was in a boot and this boot cover has lasted through MULTIPLE rainy football games. It was my fault for not looking at the size when I ordered, so mine was a tad big, but it otherwise fit perfectly around my calf. It's not thick at all and repelled water super well.

Broke my foot 3 wks before a planned trip to Iceland. Used this cover as we trekked all over for 5 days, in snow, ice, and even a blizzard that closed roads there one day. It eventually did get a hole in the back of it, where the sole meets the cover. However, everything stayed completely dry, and suprisingly warm, with just one wool-blend sock under the boot and cover…in negative 0 c temps. Once the hole was there, things did get a little damp. But that was the last day, and it still exceeded real-world expectations. Knocked off one star because I ordered a medium, received a large, and it was ginormous! Otherwise, easy to put on, take off, and worked like a champ!!

This boot cover was a lifesaver. We've had a ton of snow here in michigan this winter. The boot goes on easily and is secure. It has kept my foot dry always. It is very well designed and constructed. I purchased a medium which fit well over a medium aircast. Highly recommend it.

My grandchild recently went off to outdoor-ed on crutches in cold wet-cold-snowy weather.we bought this to waterproof her foot that was in a removable boot. The object was: to keep her dry with a lot of socks keeping her warm. It worked. She was toasty. This cover is a heavy nylon that will keep the underneath dry. It has a tie off under the knee so rain, and cold, and snow are not getting in. Just don't submerge the leg in water and do dress the foot and lower leg appropriately for warmth if it's cold where you'll be. She didn't put any weight on it so I can't comment as to that. This really saved a memorable event.

Not very water resistant. After short walk (10 minutes) on varied surfaces, paved, gravel & lawn, water seeps into the bottom of the cover where the ballistic cloth stitches to the rubber sole. Bought the medium to match a size medium Airwalk cam-boot, and it's at least an inch too long, so the sole of the cover drags in both the front and back. The description recommends against long walks but fails to say what it describes as a "long walk," Is that more than 2 minutes?

It came covered in dust, faded, rocks wedged in the tred, and a hole torn in the fabric covering the foot. If I could give zero stars I would. We'll see what the replacement is like as there's not much choice out there to fit a 5 yr old walking boot . Update 3/25/26: the replacement boot we got was good (new, no holes), but the little one dragged it on the ground while scootering and put a hole in it. Ordered another while patching the once new one, but the newly ordered boot that arrived yesterday was yet again dirty and had a hole in it. So both boots I ordered came unusable while one replacement came undamaged. 33% is definitely a failing grade
