NICE, LONG, HOT SHOWERS IN MY RV - YAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!! This unit definitely does what it's designed to. I've had no issues with it heating the water up, even in the middle of winter. The install was fairly simple, except the wiring. If you haven't messed with RV wiring, there is no "standard" color code and many times the circuits in a single trailer dont follow the same pattern as others. For example, I have circuits where black is ground and others where white is ground. I used an ohm meter to determine this particular circuit. Also, don't forget, RVs are similar to 12v car systems in that they use a negative ground. My unit did have a dead controller on arrival. Amazon made me jump through a bunch of hoops to get in touch with the seller, including a phone call with foreign tech support to tell them everything I'd already told someone in a chat which was annoying. Ince I got in touch directly, the seller was prompt to respond and to send me a new controller.

We replaced our rv water heater with this, and I have really enjoyed it since we installed it about 8 months ago. We had some issues when we had a larger propane tank delivered. The heater kept faulting for propane, but nothing a reset couldn't take care of, and likely at no fault the unit. It was easy to install, we had to purchase a larger door panel separate and it was a good chunk of money, but well worth it

Update, here we are on July 3, 2025 and receiving the E1 fault again. I am updating the rating as well to 1 star, I just wish they had a zero star option. Fair warning please stay away from this product it is absolute junk. I installed this product myself which was not difficult. After 5 days the unit quit heating and displayed a code for the failed ignition. I checked propane which was not the issue. I finally called customer service, the person on the other end sounded like they were reading from a playbook. I had to repeat everything to them at least twice as they were flipping through pages. I explained to them what was going on, I might as well have been speaking a made up language as they had no idea of what I was talking about or describing. They needed me use a voltage meter and send pictures of the readings, which were 0. Which not everyone has a voltage meter, another flaw in their system. They then sent that to their warranty department for verification which took a day. I was told I would receive the replacement within 3 days. It took 8 days b/c they sent it USPS who never gets in a rush to deliver anything. Meanwhile my family was without hot water, which the people at Fogatti could not have been any less compassionate about. I would not purchase this item again. I have heard positive feedback on tankless heaters, but they must have been another brand.

This tankless water heater was installed in a RV in December of 2024 and it's still working well. Water is hot instantly. You can set the temp to whatever you want on the digital pad so you don't have to adjust in the shower. Temp is consistent and will run as long as you need. Makes RV showering something to look forward to. The only issue we've had is periodically the faucet has to be turned off and on 3 times to ignite the hot water.

Easy install, super performance above 5000 ft, not for boondocking if water conservation is an issue. The only negative was that the first one I ordered never arrived and it took over a month to get a refund.
