I wanted a carry bag of some sort for travel. Something I could use as a small carryon, something I could use for a day trip or an overnight trip. This fit the bill. The zippered side pocket was perfect for holding my wallet and passport. The pack carried nicely on my back, but when I needed access to anything in any of the pockets, it swung nicely around. I didn't have to take it off The side net pockets held a bottle of water or tea, and an umbrella. The rest of the compartments held a ton of other stuff, and it seemed like no matter how much I put in, there was always space for more. It held up well for 10 days of travel. While I don't know what the future will bring, there is no indication it will not last longer. I ordered a competing model at the time I ordered this. It was a dollar or two more. I've had this since February 23rd, 2023 (Date of review: April 27th, 2023). This little backpack still looks brand new and I use it all weekend, every weekend. It doesn't hold a ton, but it can hold a lot. The part that sold me the most was the adjustable strap. Being able to make this a left or right sling pack and not just stuck with one side. The materials and quality of the bag are very good in my opinion. I'm not abusive with this bag, but I'm also not paying attention to make sure I take good care of it. I tend to throw it on my back seat of my car and throw it on and off with where ever I might be. It's a great little backpack that lets me carry what I need for the day. I highly recommend for those on the go or for those who may be doing door-to-door sales and/or daily activities. I like the size of this sling backpack. I wanted something smaller and less bulky than my larger Lowepro sling-style backpack. I purchased it to carry a second camera with a lens attached ...as well as all my extra onsite needs (extra batteries, memory cards, etc.) while out shooting in nature. I like the fact that the strap attaches to either side of the bottom of the bag. I'm not sure I'll like having/using the shoulder strap pouch. Time will tell but my first impression is that it's unnecessary. I'll try using it for my phone for quick access without needing to carry it in my pants pocket. Perfect size and pretty light weight. Appears to be made well. Love the color. I got the light beige/Tan one. Straps are comfortable and the pocket on the sling itself fits my iPhone with plenty of room to spare. Lot's of little compartments inside to hold your items and organize your stuff. I have a 26 ounce Metal Thily cool water cup that fits inside the mesh pockets on the side of the bag. I ordered one for my husband in the dark grey because he liked mine so much. ... show more

Perfect for our recent trip to Europe. This was a great day bag to hold the essentials (phone, wallet, portable charger and a few snacks) while walking and touring. Small front pocket was perfect for keeping train/subway tickets handy. Side pockets are a little tight so they work best for a smaller water bottle or umbrella. I mostly wore this with the pack on the front, I did notice when I wore it on my back, the strap pocket did shift and ended up by my neck which was a bit uncomfortable. It isn't very water resistant, and ended up pretty wet when we got caught in a rainstorm. Overall much more comfortable than a backpack. Highly recommend this for travel! ... show more

This little backpack is a must have for any occasion!! I bought it for a trip but have been using for anything! Park with kids? Great! Small hike? Awesome! Road trip? Super convenient!! Just the mall? Do it!! It will save you space and keeps your hands free, not to mention you can carry it in the front instead of the back if you want it to be more secure. I really like this bag, it's got good compartments for all my stuff, the only drawback to it is the pouch on the strap. No matter how I adjust the length of the strap, that pouch is pretty much sitting right under your chin.
