Let me preface by saying I love Coach bags. I have nine right now and have had many others throughout my adult life. I can’t handle this one. There are sections on the front of my purse that look like stains. I even sent it back and got a replacement. When I got the second one…same issue. So I come back and look at the listing and see that those two random stains are actually the word “Coach”. So I look at my purse again, and realize it does indeed say Coach but it’s quite blurred and honestly a bizarre design decision. It truly looks like there are stains on the purse unless you look under a microscope. Anybody who does not know better will think you have a stained purse. And the location of the two random logos is just kinda weird. I just can’t handle it. I hate to rate my beloved Coach brand so low but this was a complete miss for me.

First the leather quality and overall quality is pretty bad. I know Coach's quality over the years has gone down and why so much of their stuff is on outlet prices/discount constantly. The size and shape of this is pretty unnatural. the magnetic flap is nice. The inside only one main compartment and one small slit. Fits a phone thats really about it. This bag will fit a phone at most. The elastic crossbody strap feels so cheap, its an insult to the consumer. WIll not last long at all. The metal chain feels so tacky and gaudy, it reminds of mall jewellery store metal quality. For the price of nearly $400? No do not get this bag, take your hard earned money and get a quality leather bag from other reputable brands that care and respect their consumer base. That magnetic flap will also not stay closed at times, I feel like that will likely result in my phone falling out in the future. I am sure others will like this bag due to the branding or what it offers in quality and they may like it since it meets that standards. I have experience with other sorts of leathers and this is not that great.

Hey! I'm a huge fan of Coach and recently purchased this amazing and compact men's crossbody. Yes, many consider this style unisex, and perhaps it is. However, all Coach products under the 'Charter' name are categorized as men's, listed in the men's section on Coach's website, and featured in ads with male models. Additionally, the product isn't simply called 'Charter Crossbody' but 'Charter Flap Crossbody 18,' indicating it's part of the Charter line, which includes various crossbody bags. The bag is well-made and quite compact. I love the color and the coated canvas material, which is durable compared to other materials. It might seem small to some people because it barely fits a phone, keys, wallet, and headphones. However, I appreciate its interesting and unique design. One downside is that when you buy directly from Coach, the item comes beautifully packaged in tissue paper and a gift box, which is expected for a $400 purchase, not just a box with no air bubbles. Also, I want to highlight that this is a Coach product, not a Coach Outlet. Many people don't know there are two lines from the same brand: Coach with high-quality materials and higher prices rarely discounted below 40% off, and Coach Outlet with cheaper, lower-quality materials, often discounted 70% off in clearance (and sometimes with 15-20% extra off). Coach products, like the Coach Signature Monogram, feature small 'Coach' inscriptions, whereas Coach Outlet styles with the same monogram do not have it at all. Coach items feel softer and more luxurious, whereas Coach Outlet products tend to feel stiffer. Coach products usually include a dust bag, whereas Coach Outlet items often do not. The price tags also distinguish these lines: Coach tags are off-white with an MSRP or just the price, often ending in -5. Coach Outlet tags are whiter, always list a Comparable Value, and prices usually end in -8. I just wanted to provide this helpful information for fellow fashion handbags and accessories enthusiasts. This bag is very smooth. It's stiff like new leather is, but the card promises that it'll only get better with age, which I'm cool with. I really like the simple, subdued look of it. There is a thicker chain that goes with it, to wear at the elbow, or maybe on the shoulder, and a longer, crossbody strap so that the thicker chain can be used as decoration. There's a hanging coach tag and a C on the bag, but that's all that identifies it as a Coach bag. If you like Coach but don't care to flaunt the brand, this is a good option to have. It's very small. I have a Note 20 in a wallet case, and that fits in here nicely. It also fits my inhaler, chapstick, a few other small items, but not much more. If you carry a mom bag with a lot of 'just in case' items, this won't work for you long term. I have a larger Coach bag, a three compartment for my everyday carry, so that I can fit in plenty of stuff. This one works for me for walking around craft shows or quick trips into the store when I don't want to carry the big bag. I can just put my essentials in this and carry on, leave my bigger purse in the trunk, or in a locker at theme parks, and have everything that I immediately need in this smaller bag. The leather is thick, sturdy feeling, and the flap closes with magnets! It holds tightly closed and I love that I don't have to worry about snaps or clasps. That makes this flap easy to open when I need to grab something. There is a single outside pocket down the back, with no closure. Inside, there's one fabric panel against the back to use as a 'side pocket'. It's pretty flat against the back of the purse. Cards will fit in there, maybe a chapstick or gloss or some emergency eyeliner. My inhaler will not fit there, so it goes in the main compartment. The quality is top notch, all the seams sewn in tight, no loose threads, no curls at the edges, no flaws at all. It comes with a dust bag and the straps are wrapped in paper, the inside filled with paper and desiccant packs to keep everything in shape and safe from moisture. I like the size for a quick-use bag. I'll keep using my larger bag, but this provides lots of options for a date purse or a quick runaround bag, and it's Coach, so excellent quality that will last. I'd buy again in a different color if offered.

I hear Coach are making a bit of a comeback and as they are known for their bags and accessories I jumped at the chance to order this charter cross body bag. I liked the look of the logo and the size appealed to me. I needed a smaller bag that can accommodate my phone, wallet keys and lip balm etc. When it arrived it came in a clear bag and was well packaged to protect the bag. It was also stuffed so that it would retain it's shape. The bag is exactly as you see in the photos, but there is one thing that isn't so clear and that's the small 'Coach' handwritten printed on one of the larger C's. At first I thought it was a white stain or mark but if you look closely enough you can see it says 'coach'. I felt better about that and glad it wasn't a mark or stain but it may put you off when you receive it. The bag is primarily made up of traditional coated canvas with leather trim and features. There are higher end brands that charge three times this amount for their equivalent sized bags so the price here, while certainly not cheap is more in line with reality. It's a printed canvas at the end of the day! There are two straps for the bag, the longer cross body which is what I use, and also a shorter thick metal chain. The latter is far too feminine looking for me. I'm sure there are plenty of men that will rock the chain strap but it's not for me, so I removed that. I actually think this is a good unisex option and anyone could wear it. The inside features the main compartment plus an additional section for thinner items such as a passport or similar. It's very versatile for styling and pretty much works with anything I wear. The black and grey coloring definitely supports that. I'm glad I ordered this and I recommend to anyone that is looking for a smaller bag that can be worn over the shoulder and secured with the pouch being placed to the front or side.
