    • Hard to fill with water, LED lights are too bright, no place to hide the wires
The media could not be loaded. First of all, mine looks like a genuine chunk of wood - it's NOT black like the other reviewer claims it is. However, as good as it looks, I'm pretty sure this will be a lot of trouble to keep up. I plan on putting this outdoors on my deck as soon as the weather stays above freezing. Probably on a table with small planters surrounding it. But for now, I'm showing you what it looks like working. See all those wires -- left rear on the video? You can't hide them inside the fountain as there'd be no place for the water. This holds only 3-4 cups of water at one time, if you overfill, it splatters over the front bottom section as soon as you plug it in. You can see on the glass where this happened. I think the LED lights look horrible. It looks like they're flickering, but they aren't...it's due to the water trickling over the lights that makes them look like they're flickering, but they are on solid. Maybe at night they'd look better. Those plug in separately, so wherever you place this fountain, you need TWO places to plug things in. The lights have a plug and the pump has its own plug. You don't even need to plug the lights in at all. If you plan on using this outdoors, you'll have to refill it every day, maybe 2 times a day or you risk burning the pump out. It's very awkward to fill without dumping water on yourself as it goes in the back. You can't tilt it over to fill as the water runs out the front then. There's also a cover where you're supposed to be able to tuck the wiring away, but the cover won't close correctly so I had to leave it off. (Besides, if you tuck the wiring inside, there's barely room for any water). This is kind of small to be used outdoors, even though the pump is rated indoor/outdoor. It's just not in proportion to most things outside. On the plus side, it does have a nice trickling water sound, very soothing. ... show more

    • Attractive fountain
A lot of times you see a picture of an item and it's beautiful but when you see it in person it seems a bit underwhelming. That is not the case with this fountain. If anything it's even nicer in person. It looks like someone took a really interesting piece of wood and turned it into a fountain. The sound of the water is soothing but not over loud. The last fountain I had was so loud I had to turn it off at night or when meditating. This one is just right. My only complaint, and it's a very minor one, is that the lights seem a bit too bright for my liking. A way to dim them would have been nice but as I said it's a minor complaint. If you are looking for an attractive fountain I recommend you try this one. I don't think you will be sorry. ... show more

    • The packaging this comes in makes it hard to get out but it's worth it.
This looks sort of tacky in the picture but when it's functional and lit up with the little LED lights it's cool. Very soothing waterfall effect and the lights are just an extra feature that makes it pretty. I use this on my porch but I think you could put it anywhere. So easy to set up and keep going. Great conversation piece as it's not the normal looking fountain but a piece of resin made to look like wood. ... show more

It's much smaller than I thought it would be. Design wise, I don't feel it fits in the house and looks like more of an outdoor water fountain feature. Kind of dark with some overpowering non-romantic LEDs. Not really worth the price.

When we opened this package, the first thing that struck us was how dark the appearance, it is almost black! The photo as shown in the description seems to make it appear to be a light color. It is not and we packed this away. Sorry, but this is not for us either in the yard or the house.
