This free-standing stone fountain is exactly what I was looking for: it can be used inside the house, is well made, easy to set up for this 73 year old lady, and is stylish. It is fairly heavy (though not too heavy to lift), so is either real stone or something similar. The running water sound is soothing, and I love watching it. I was a bit nervous about having a fountain inside the house, especially with 2 indoor cats. The first few days, one of the cats kept trying to check it out, but she has mostly lost interest. I did buy some algaecide when I bought the fountain, but decided not to use it in case the cats get a drink when I'm not looking. The fountain does not have an on-off switch, so it must be unplugged, to turn it off. My only available electrical outlet is behind a bookcase, so I bought a wireless outlet, which plugs into the existing outlet, and has a small remote, to turn it off and on. I do not leave the fountain on when I go to bed or when I leave the house, so the handheld switch, eliminates the problem of no switch. If I were to make a suggestion to the manufacturer, it would be to provide some felt pads for the bottom of the fountain. It is very rough, so without some protection, it will scratch most furniture. If there were pads in the box, and I missed them, my apologies to the seller. It was not a big deal, I just put some pads on the bottom. The fountain has three little lights in the bottom, shining up toward the top of the waterfall. My only other suggestion for the manufacturer would be to install brighter lights. Again, not a deal breaker for me. I just installed a little battery operated light above the fountain. Some may not even care about that, but I wanted a brighter light. Problem solved. Hint for users: When you start hearing some strange gurgling noises, the fountain is telling you that it wants more water. Just turn the fountain off, turn it around, and pour about 16 oz of distilled water in the back. Don't use tap water, or you will eventually have problems, due to calcium buildup. Anything like this is going to require a bit of user maintenance, but it is very minimal. Just read the instructions before installing. This is really a very nice fountain, and is priced reasonably. It is well made and great quality. Perfect for my patio table top. You absolutely hear nothing while it's on. Very tranquil and the tiny led lights are just enough illumination! Well worth the purchase!

    • Delivered Broken not just once but twice. It's not worth it.
We ordered and was delivered with parts that were supposed be together found unassembled and when put together didn't work. Sent it back but thought it would be worth another try, so we ordered another. It was worst than the first. I think they make there money thinking you won't lug this heavy thing back a returning station. I would have given it a minus 3 stars, but they didn't have that. ... show more

Unfortunately the fountain arrived and it was thoroughly destroyed. The box was fine so it’s odd that it was so broken. I will change my review if I receive a new unbroken fountain but it is currently showing as out of stock.
