This fountain has decent height at 40”, but I made it about 18” taller by placing it on an upside down cast crock. I am not going to say this imitation tree trunk is totally authentic looking-esp when you pull it from the box. But when you set it up, place some plants around it, it transforms a bit. In fact, in the bright daylight, or at night, you really can’t see that green color at all. Hopefully you get a brown one, which is what I thought I was getting, and then when I checked back on the color after receiving it, the ad description said “tree trunk” for the color, but I got a green-ish one. I thought about returning it, but in the end, I set it up, and will now keep it. The green bothers me less and less. The four white led lights are indeed white and the only reason there is somewhat of a nice golden color is because the interior of the small pool where the water collects is painted a golden brown. What I also like is the flickering as the water hits each pool and light bounces off the swirling water, pools, and bubbles. Plus the sound is nice. This was very important to me. Very very tranquil. The manufacturer places a small piece of black fibrous foam at most every waterfall to help spread-out the water as it flows out of a pool. I haven’t adjusted the pump flow rate yet, I just started it at the setting I had received it, and it’s fine. There is no splashing-out of the water that I can see and I am using this outdoors. I elevated the fountain because it’s only 40 inches tall to begin, and I wanted a little bit more height so I put it on a 16” crock and surrounded it with plants. It looks perfectly fine and really nice with the added height. This water fountain tree stump has two places for you to place two smallish plant pots, which is a great touch, and where you can then have plants cascading from those 2 spots. It is way better than having a bear or a bird sitting on your fountain, IMO. I don’t anticipate any leaking because this is a resin composite fountain which is a one-piece enclosed fountain. Meaning there are no pieces to put together. Easy to pick up and move around. Comes in a giant box well protected. I set it up, turned it on, and has been working perfectly since. A remote is a must have! Set up was extremely easy. There are a number of cords because each of the four lights has a cord that all combine into one electrical plug and then there is the 2nd plug for the pump. So there are two main cords/plugs coming out. I zip tied both cords altogether running to the outlet control receptacle I had purchased separately. I chose to keep the light wires out of the water-which made more sense to do this IMO. Then at someone else’s suggestion here on Amazon reviews I bought a two receptacle plug, w/ remote, that accepts those two cords and it is operated with the small remote. This is highly recommended. I just walk out to my deck hit the remote and instant tranquility. No messing-around with plugging anything in each time you want to use it. They actually should sell that unit with this 2 plug fountain. I’ve surrounded the fountain with plants for a more natural look despite the fake-ish green color. I added 2 gallons of distilled water upon start up, and some water clarifier, and then just adding some more water on occasion. Not sure how much water it holds? Overall I am very satisfied now. I do recommend this fountain for all the qualities you are probably looking for. The 4 Lights, 5 pools, 6 water falls, nice soothing sound, nice lighting and color reflection, aesthetics, holds 2 small plants, affordable price, etc. 5 stars. We bought it for our patio but it looked so nice, we kept it indoors. There was little to no assembly and it’s been very reliable. The souls is very soothing, the pump is quiet. At night, the lighting and projection on the ceiling is an added bonus.

Love it! Packaging was very good...no problems with the pump, if ufollow dorections only.needed about 2.5 gallons of water (distilled) keep an eye on the level...very peaceful sounds and lights...i got a remote for a 2 plug cord and it works great...photos to come later

Looks cool enough but unpacking it I realized they have the lights and pump powered separate and the wiring to the lights looked iffy.. sure enough one of the led’s isn’t working. I’ve unplugged it and replugged it in and nothing.. so buy at your own risk.. it says they test every thing before they ship it but that’s obviously bs.. thanks guys ... show more
