KOORUI seem to be masters at knowing what people really care about in a monitor, stripping the spec down to that, and delivering at an incredible price. It's a VA panel, which is known for having a higher contrast ratio than the more common IP, but lower picture quality in general. This can be a problem and you must be careful buying VA' panels as some have very poor color, unclear images, and terrible viewing angle. This unit is VA but will full sRGB gamut color, a viewing angle that (to my eyes) is on a par with any IP that's in front of you on a desk, and respectable accuracy right out of the box. It sits right next to my BenQ and I can't really spot a difference in the color in most images. The most accurate color temperature, kind of surprisingly, seemed to come by setting the color to "custom", rather than the warm setting which is often the D65 target on consumer displays. A grayscale sweep showed about a max 4.5 dE error in the gray scales. That's not bad at all off the shelf, and typical for monitors not sold on reference color accuracy. Unfortunately it can't seem to be improved much by simply adjusting the RGB sliders which don't seem to give a very linear response. You need a calibration if you want to perfect it. Using DisplayCal I generated a gamma ramp which fixed the tone curve and grayscale errors. However, the color saturation appears a tad high, (which most people will LOVE). Bottom line is that you're getting an image typical of any decent consumer IP panel, maybe better that many of them in gamut coverage, which wouldn't be saying much - except it's VA. After calibration, (which tends to reduce contrast ratio), I have up towards 4000:1 contrast ratio. (IP panels are native ~1000:1 and usually calibrated lower). To be clear, most people using a monitor will enjoy a high contrast ratio more than any other attribute of the picture quality. (This has actually been demonstrated). It has a joystick for adjusting the settings which I find easier and more intuitive to use than the external puck on a BenQ. As a bonus it's not flopping around on my desk. It seems cheap in that it's light weight. Unless that means it's going to break, then it's only a bonus at this point since it makes it easier to setup and move around. I have no comment on any of the gaming or HDR features as I haven't explored those yet. But it's too late for anything to convince me I will ever see a better monitor for the price. EDIT: At review I had not noticed it had an sRGB mode. This brings the color gamut much closer to standard, (except red which is still a bit saturated).

Today I set up my dual KOORUI 27" model N07 monitors. I was somewhat worried by multiple reviewers reporting that this model isn't really a 4K screen. So while I don't usually write reviews, I'm here to assure you the N07 is in fact a 4K screen with resolution of 3840x2160 and refresh rate of 60hz. And I know why some people got this wrong. When I unplugged my old 1920x1080 monitors and tried to use the same HDMI cables, Windows identified the monitor as having a 1920x1080 native resolution. But my cables were very old. I plugged both my new monitors in using DisplayPort cables and they were instantly reporting 3840x2160. My monitors did not come with DP cables, just new HDMI cables. But my office had extra DP cables laying around. If you're still having trouble getting 4K on one of these, be wary of adapters, such as DP-to-HDMI, DVI-to-HDMI, etc. Also try shorter or newer cables. You CAN get 4K out of HDMI cables, but remember that HDMI has been around since 2002 and that standard has gone through many versions with new capabilities over the years. As for reviewing the other aspect of these monitors... they look great to me! Neither of mine had dead or stuck pixels. the colors look good and image is sharp. I'm not a professional monitor reviewer, but these seem like perfectly good office monitors for a fantastic price compared to big brand names. I took a chance on some of their smaller screens several months back and was blown away at the quality and low price. I'm glad this higher end model hasn't let me down!

It is a great monitor for the price. The colors are bright and in most respects works well as an external screen with lots of display space. The only negative I have is that it has a slow start-up time and from my experience, if you want to use it as the primary display, you may end up resetting it as the primary over and over. In Windows, it doesn't detect it right away and doesn't think it is connected. Then it finally shows up, but is now your secondary. Other than that, or if you have it in an always-on scenario, it should work fine.

Used it for 2 months happy with my purchase colors look good and has a nice curve to it. Screen being 32inch pretty light and doesn't feel cheap It comes with a display cable which is nice, for that 144htz Smooth gaming experience Might actually buy another one

This is the best monitor I have ever had! The image is so very clear and beautiful! I love this monitor so much that I quit using my TV. This monitor now sits in front of my recliner so I can relax and watch movies. The curve of this monitor adds a sense of depth to games and movies. And speaking of games this monitor looks truly amazing while playing and with the smooth refresh rate you won't miss a single frame of your first person shooters or racing games. And the sweet menu allows you to change any settings you can think of. I consider this a high performance gaming monitor that not only looks amazing but has all of the settings needed for the current gamer! I know it's only QHD but it sure looks just as good as any 4k monitor out there. I promise you will be happy with it! I'm planning on buying a second one just for my command line interface and using a VESA arm to attach it to my small table that I currently use my current one one.
