This is a thin rug, making it suitable to be thrown in a washing machine (cold, no bleach, low-spin). If you have pets that are messy, this is the kind of accent rug you need in order to have a clean, no-pet-odor home. The ability to wash it is fantastic, will fit in any standard-sized washer. The colors are vibrant, and the material is soft, feels great on bare feet. The size is true to the listing, and it adds a pop of color to our neutral-colored room. I originally got this to place under my drum set in our living area, but the synthetic material is too slick for my bass drum, so instead we moved it to our master bedroom. The thickness is perfect, because things don't have to sit square on it to prevent wobble/tilt. Also, when it arrived, I was worried that the creases wouldn't come out of it, because it was shipped in an air-sealed bag, folded. However, after letting it drape for a day over some chairs, our creases melted away and it sits perfectly flat. The edges, the patten, the fibers in the rug all seem put together well, and I imagine this rug will last us a long time. I would highly recommend CAPALOCA Washable Rugs!

The colors on this rug are bright, and look just like they do in the pictures (on my screen at least). I like the asymmetrical modern design. It’s a bit pixelated, but since it’s abstract, it looks fine. It’s very soft underfoot, but it is thin. But being thin is how you are able to wash it, so it’s worth it. You could put a rug pad under it if you wanted some more cushion, but with the nonslip backing, you don’t need a rug pad. It stays in place well as is. It comes folded, which means that there are a fair few creases that have to settle out once you put it down. Those are a bit of a tripping hazard until it settles, but the higher the traffic on it, the quicker it flattens out. You could probably use some steam or iron it with a folded towel between in and the iron to flatten it out quicker, but I haven’t actually tried that. For me, it took a couple of days in a well trafficked spot before it laid flat.

I am trying hard to think of something I don't like about this rug. I'm not coming up with anything. First of all, this rug is washable. Right there, I could stop and that would be enough of a "plus", for me. Added bonuses of this rug, the texture is soft (not to be confused with thickness or padding); if "thin" can be plush, this rug is plush. I am very pleased with the colors of this rug; both bright and muted. The arrangement of the colors is very complimentary, with a few nice gold accent streams throughout. Where I live (rental) I keep the walls pretty bare as I don't want to go putting nail holes all over the place, so my floors are where I put the color. This is going to be a great addition to my color palette! I see good, tight seams which is important to me at least starting out. I have two rambunctious dogs so hopefully, over time, the seams will at least not come apart immediately. I can happily recommend this rug!

I wanted to keep this rug. It was soft, perfect thickness for my needs and the design colors were ideal. My only problem was that it was shipped folded up in a box. After two days of hoping the creases would unfold, I contacted the manufacturer. They were very kind and instructed me to lay heavy objects on the folds. I had been doing this and after another week of it not laying smooth, I sent it back.
