Very nice solid economical fire-rated gunsafe. This one is almost 300lbs...and has heavier gauge steel compared to many competitors at and above this price point.. Nice carpeted interior with adjustible shelves. Nice exterior finish and very tight tolerances for the door and lock. Water seal is a plus. This is a quality safe! If you use the all of shelves is comes with, it will hold about 4 tricked out ARs with scopes, lights, and bipods-- which is reasonable. The shelves are heavy duty and hold alot of ammo (very deep). Door pockets durable and holds 3 pistols. Door pouches nice feature. This safe was great as it had 2 backup keys if the keypad goes dead (some competitors dont have that feature, which is expensive if you ever need a locksmith). Price on amazon was very competitive for this brand/model. It wont keep a professional out, but for a family with kids, protecting against fire or water, and for guarding against the amatuer home invasion/thief, this safe is more than enough value and protection. This is a very nice, heavy safe. I'm using it to store paperwork, not guns. The upright, tall size fits well in the closet. I got some shelves made to add more storage. I would suggest to the manufacturer to have that as optional accessories. The lock was easy to set up and it's easy to open. It's so heavy, nobody would mess with it.     • For the price it is really a good safe but could use a few minor things.
I want to start by saying the delivery could have been a disaster but the drive saved the day. The delivery was a week early and their was no notification at all/ I was lucky to be home. Plus the driver said they do not bring it inside and was alone. He took pity on me and helped me get this 300 Plus pound inside. Never heard from the shipper at all. Now the good stuff, I caught this on a special for $600 and fro what I got their is no complaints but some observations and suggestions. I did have to loosen the shelf bracket where you put in the clips to get the shelf level. after placing the actual clips in place I was able to tap down on one set and tap up on the other side to get them closer to level. Not so bad. The next issue was some of the upholstery on the the big shelf was not attached well so a little glue to help it stay and all was well. Their is a strong aroma of Pine. Obviously it was fresh cut but very strong and my concern is the moister in the wood could be an issue for the guns. The last nit pick is the battery box. There is no diagram in the owners manual which side of the taps the battery should go. it either case the battery flops around. Should it be touching the control board and pressing the black part? I don't know Now, they do not add lights at this price point but I wish they had an option. I have great overhead lighting but need a flash light for inside. I will order up something soon. The other suggestion is about mounting. The have a bolt kit for the floor but I am on carpet so I could really use some sort of anchor set for the top of the safe to keep it from rocking. The safe arrived in prefect condition. The keypad lock was easy to program for my own code and unlocks flawlessly. It locks when the handle is turned. The instructions were easy to follow. The safe in general seems sturdy. I haven't had time to configure the shelves but it doesn't look like it will be a problem. Overall I am well pleased! ... show more

Bolts on door jam can only open safe with the keys. Made cheap. Deep chips in door, interior lined with cheap fuzzy materials.not worth 1000.00$ waste of money. Do not buy.

After 4 years of loving this safe - Hurricane Helene did her best to take it out. Withstood 5 feet of flood water for 6 hours with only about 3” of water penetrating. Great safe. Believe it would hold up to spec 2’ of water no problem.

This seems pretty cool. I bought a light kit aftermarket for it and it works great. The only problem is I have four rifles and it's still hard to close the door. Because once you get all your attachments on your rifles on your ARS. Shotguns etc. Sorry to close the door so maybe I just bought the smaller size by accident but tae safe itself is quality. I would buy this brand again ... show more
