  • So far so good
Size: Provantage 2500
I’ve had to use it a couple times to get my Honda rubicon out of some crappy situations. Accidentally drove in a pretty steep and deep ditch and it pulled me out with no problem. Only complaint is the turn knob on the side is plastic and feels like it would break pretty easily. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. ... show more

  • Great winch, difficult to install
Size: ProVantage 3500
The mounting plate specifically made for this unit wasn't easy to fit on my 2023 Mule, despite being designed for it. The winch works well, but installation was pretty challenging - probably more of a mounting plate issue than a winch issue. 4 stars for now, maybe update to 5 stars after more use.

  • Great winch for the price
Size: ProVantage 3500
The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five was that Warn made the two battery cables (back& red) the longest and the two winch power cables (yellow& blue) the shortest. I believe that this should be reversed because the winch is the farthest away from the relay, which would normally mount closer to the battery, so the yellow and blue wires should be the longest two in my opinion. ... show more

  • This winch fit perfectly my 2023 yamaha grizzly 700
Size: Provantage 2500
Fit perfectly well on 2023 Yamaha grizzly 700 just do not install it first on the plate like everyone said on YouTube. Install the plate first and then slide it in from the side and it work perfect. No rubbing. I recommend this 2500 warn winch for 2023 Yamaha grizzly 700.

  • works great
Size: Provantage 2500
The installation directions werent the best but unit working good on my plow quad through the first big snow storm. Only other complaint is that the winch lead wires are quite short. Limits where you can mount the solenoid

  • Warn 4500# winch #90450
After install and wiring it up, it runs with the in dash switch & supplied remote rocker switch. Supplied is #8 soft drawn cables, (no connectors). I gave this only 4 stars because I feel at this price they could have added the eye connectors & mounting plate. I mounted mine in a 2013 Polaris Ranger Crew 800, fit perfect, but getting it there doing it alone was another. It runs in and out with both the switch and the hand remote. Rocker switch was a perfect fit in the Polaris dash, I used a paddle bit (wood bit) to drill the hole in the body of the Polaris for the remote switch outlet. Haven't had the need to use this winch. Just know your ratios of a winch when buying one, remember 4500# is if the cable is fully off the spool, that's 4500# as the raps get on the spool the ratio changes (gets less) buy accordingly. Hope all the seals are good as it's rained here so I'm sure it'll get dunked some where along the line just going thru mud/water. On the lighter side they wrap the winch cable with a huge rubber band but it was installed inside the farels would have like to had that dude. Something to remember, if your not wanting to pay to have one installed or your not on the Mech. side of tools, on most UTV / ATV or even trucks, you can install a forward receiver or ball hitch and buy a less costly winch and just carry it with you, because they make them with a ball adaptor you slip it over the a trailer ball plug it or clip it to the battery source and your ready to rock. Hope this helps . ... show more
