Description

The HUB Wireless Receiver allows your to operate your winch using Bluetooth connection on your iOS or Android smart device. The 103945 HUB Receiver is compatible with any contactor-controlled WARN truck winch, including ZEON, VR, VR EVO, and newer Heavyweight and Classic series winch models. This receiver is quick to install and mounts to any tube or flat surface and wiring takes less than 5 minutes on most models. The built-in D-plug connects to the winch just like any wired remote and the 6 ft. (1.8m) long wiring harness allows the receiver to be securely mounted remotely. Features a 100 ft. or more wireless range with a rugged construction with a fully molded housing that offers IP68 waterproof sealing. When paired with the App, this receiver allows the user to control the winch and receive battery voltage feedback. The HUB wireless App can be downloaded for free from the Apple App and Google Play stores. This is designed to work offline and without service using Bluetooth. The layout is optimized for one-handed winch control and offers real time winch feedback displayed on the screen. The built-in help and tutorials allow the user to easily connect their phone to their HUB Receiver. Users can also pair and switch between multiple HUB Receivers.

Being safety-conscious, I've always been a bit nervous about being at the cable length of my wired winch controller as a snapped winch cable under load can whip back and cause bodily damage. I found this WARN 103945 Wireless HUB Receiver and Phone App on Amazon and ordered it because I saw that another reviewer has the same model winch as me. I'm pleased to report that this wireless hub does fit and work with the older XD series WARN winches also. I downloaded the app for my iPhone from the App Store. It was easy to install, easy to pair with the hub, and works perfectly. The app is well thought out in terms of safety features and reliable operation. I'm very pleased that I can stand much further away from the winch when operating it. While the hub is a little pricy, it is well worth the price for the convenience of operating the winch and safety. After installing my WARN Eco 10S winch I added the wireless Hub and it connected to my app on my iPhone no problem. Quite impressive, its nice when everything works like it is suppose too.

    • Great replacement for wired remote
Bought this to replace my missing wired remote, had to install the app and pair it up with my phone (Bluetooth) after that it worked great. The manfr said they are straying away from the wired units due to issues.

    • Works well, but be advised it will always drain power from battery when attached to winch
I needed a wireless remote solution because the aftermarket bumper I got prevents me from hooking up the wired remote (unless I take the panel off that's above the radiator, or cut a big hole in that which I wasn't willing to do). I thought I would be able to hook this product up and forget it, but then I noticed it drains the battery when plugged in. I'm sure it's not a big drain, but it's a drain. Though I'm sure it voids the warranty, I spliced a simple on/off switch and an inline fuse on the power wire and it works fine. Now I turn the power on from the cab and then connect the app to the winch and I'm good to go. A simple on/off switch at the Bluetooth terminal would have solved this problem, so if Warn had done that in the first place I would have given it 5 stars. The app works well and there are some simple lockup safeguards that are well thought out. I took one star away because it is always on. ... show more

I actually wasn’t expecting too much because I was a little skeptical since you had to use it in conjunction with an ap on your phone. I was so wrong! I live this thing. It’s super easy to install and use. When not in use you can unhook it from your wench to prevent battery drain. This really came in handy on the Rubicon Trail!!
