Description

WARN's VRX 45-S powersports winch offers all new levels of performance and best-in-class power. With a 4,500 lb capacity that is available with a synthetic rope, this winch is made for the hardest working UTVs. The durable, all-metal construction features black powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and the waterproof sealing keeps the elements out. The new clutch design is based on the legendary WARN 4WD hub lock know-how. The three-stage planetary gear train is all-metal, smooth, and reliable, and the load-holding mechanical brake offers great control. The VRX 45-S includes 50' x 1/4" synthetic rope, hawse fairlead, and zinc-plated hook, as well as a dash- mounted control switch and corded remote control. Note: This product requires a compatible bumper or mounting plate to be properly mounted to your vehicle.

I just got this winch for my Polaris so I’ve only used it once. My tractor was at another ranch and I needed to load a large feeder on my trailer that weighed several hundred pounds with another 600 to 700 lbs of feed inside the feeder. I pulled my Polaris along side of my trailer then chained a snatch block at the front center of the trailer. Then I ran my winch cable through the snatch block and hooked on to the feeder. I hit the switch to pull the feeder up the ramps and onto the trailer and it was a cake walk. Not a huge amount of weight but the Warn winch made short work of loading the feeder! ... show more

Installed on my Suzuki Samurai. Put the handlebar switch in the dash with a separate on/off switch. Hand controller mounted outside. Gives the option of operating while inside the vehicle without the hand control cable through the window. Pulled out of the snow 5 times the first day. I installed this, in my enclosed trailer, for loading and unloading cars. I picked it because it was one of the slowest speed winches available. It works perfectly! I have used the bargain “big box” winches and they are too fast, noisy and jerky. This one is so smooth and quiet. Worth every penny.

Product broke just over a year. Normal use, normal storage. Purchased the 4 year protection plan and they’ve been giving me the runaround for 2 months now. I’ve got a winch from Harbor freight that is almost 10 years old. Shrug. The warranty is what kills me on this one - Purchased to have the protection and then dealing with someone who is clearly English as a second language and no clear Comprehension. ... show more
