This review is for the WARLION brand 10 foot, 3/8 inch security chain. I had a shoulder injury recently and I can really feel it when lifting this chain. Product listing claims 12.8 pounds and I believe it! The chain comes in a basic, but sturdy bag. It is very similar to the bags that OKG chains come in. I like the nylon sleeve that surrounds the chain as well. I can’t imaging lugging this chain around on any sort of bike. I got this to secure my generator in my back yard. The product card which was attached to the bag claims the chain has a hardness of 700+ 80 HV10 (roughly 60 Rockwell). That’s about middle of the pack compared to other vendors. OKG claims their chains have a hardness of 780 HV or 63 Rockwell. That is obviously superior to this chain. I am not familiar with this brand, so I did a quick hardness test using a metal file. It did NOT scratch the chain. This chain surprised me. The quality and durability is higher than I anticipated. I really did not expect this unknown brand to shrug off my metal file. Looking around at other products at about the same price point, the OKG products have a higher hardness and a good reputation. Also, this product is a copy from other established products. There is nothing here to set it apart or above the competition. That said, it is still a good product that I will be using to secure my generator. ... show more
