Living in Detroit and walking my dog at night can be chilling. This coat has been wonderful. Fits perfect (usually wear a size XL and bought an XL). The arms are a bit too snug even with a thin sweater but not enough to lower my rating.

    • Beautiful coat zipper issue
I would have kept the coat and not returned it. It’s beautiful well made and it fit. Only problem I saw was the double zipper from the bottom. Had to tug to get it opened. Originally I put the coat on putting my feet in and bringing it up as I couldn’t open the zipper. I watched a you tube to see how to handle the two way zipper and it was a tug. I didn’t want to eventually have the zipper break. So I opted to return the coat and choose a different style and am pleased. ... show more

This jacket was perfect...until the bottom of the pocket completely ripped, leaving it unusable, not to mention, the zipper on the same pocket came completely off...didn't last a winter. That was last winter, fast forward to this winter, which has only just begun. The zipper on the front cracked last week and finally ripped off yesterday, swapped out with a key ring and the zipper itself broke, going in the garbage! Nice coat with a beautiful color and attractive gold hardware. The overall quality feels appropriate for the price point—*lightweight, not heavy at all.. pretty decent, but not high-end. I followed the size recommendations and ordered a large, but it was still too big in the body. Interestingly, the sleeves fit well. For reference, I’m 5'2" and 140 lbs. The coat also ran long on me, hitting at the knees, while I prefer a mid-thigh 3/4 length. I had planned to layer underneath, but the fit was still too roomy, so I am returning it. ... show more

This jacket is great. I was looking for a jacket in between my super heavy long coat and my shorter jackets. This jacket fits well and has long arms, which is always a problem for me to find. The belt and the zippers are shiny and make the coat look really pretty. Great for the money. I wear it often and it still looks like new-no pulls or rips.
