I needed a new coat for the winter. I wanted something that was warm for the cold michigan winters, looked nice to bring to work, and was not goose down. Here are the features that I love: -Made with no animal parts -Long enough to cover my rear end -Hood doesn't have fur -Zipper is double, to unzip from the bottom up for a little more leg room when sitting -The pockets have zippers so your gloves don't fall out. -Elastic cuffs, so cold air doesn't blow up your sleeves. Ran a little bit small, so I returned for a bigger size, and it's perfect.

I would have given five stars if the zipper was not just at the top of this coat. I prefer a zipper that opens/zips from the bottom of the coat AND the top. I like to zip the coat closed to the waist, and open below, especially if I'm walking.

I used this for my New York trip and I’m so glad I did, coming from Hawaii, I was not used to the cold weather in NYC but I have to say, not only was this jacket thick, warm and comfy, it was also nice and went well with most of my outfits, the price was great too! True to size and color!

I usually wear a medium but got this in a large so I’d be able to wear a sweater underneath it. It’s So warm that right now I don’t even need a sweater underneath. Maybe in Jan or Feb I will. I particularly love the cuffs that keep the cold from going up my sleeves. I love that when you use the hood the neck zipper comes up high to keep my neck warm. The inside zipper pocket is great and the pocket is a generous size. Holds my cell phone, credit cards, ID and has room for more. It looks great. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

I wanted to like this coat, but it wasn't as good as my Bean warmer coat. The fabric is not water proof so if it is raining or snowing, be prepared to get very wet. Then you have to put it in the drier to dry the polyester batting inside. I didn't like the color as well as on the internet. The hood was okay, deep. Hoping whoever gets it from the thrift store likes it better than I did.

It fits well and seems like good quality, but the hood is not lined in black as pictured which is one of the reasons I ordered it--I liked the black accents. Not sure if I am keeping it or not.

I really love this coat. It has that matte finish that I really wanted instead of the shiny outdated finish. It’s a little on the small side. If you are between sizes, I would recommend sizing up. I love that it has buttons and a double zipper. It also has cuffs around the arms which helps keep you warm. The pockets are zippered. They are a little higher than I would like but nothing to make me even think twice about this jacket. I also love that it doesn’t have fur on the hood which is so hard to find. I got the all black in a size medium. I usually wear a size 10 in pants and mediums in tops .
