So I was very happy to read before purchasing this product that the hood came off; however, an even better surprise for me (who does not like faux fur), is that the faux fur part of the hood comes off all by itself, and you can still leave the hood on without the fur if you choose to. This is awesome! The coat is nice and warm and just the right fit.

Excellent winter white ski jacket that kept me warm at 15 degrees! Super cute and stylish with plenty of pockets. I love the faux fur hood which stays in place even while going down the slopes. I stayed dry the entire time even when the weather wasn’t cooperating and was sleeting. Love it and received many compliments.

I am super happy w this jacket...4.5 stars. I am 5'9, 137lbs and I ordered a M b/c I have broad shoulders and long arms. The coats's sleeves come past my wrists with the cuff "extension" coming down the hand a bit. I have plenty of room to wear a sweater under the coat and comfortably move. It is a warm coat. It has been - degrees here in MN. I do have to take it off when in a store for more than 10/15 min. I like this b/c I am a freeze baby. It covers my bum w/o being too long. The hood is nice. My only "compaint" if you want to call it that is the faux fur seems truncated a bit. When the hood rests, I want the fur to come around and over my shoulders. (More of a style thing versus function.) Also, not a show stopper but worth mentioning, you have to pay attention when connecting the zipper. It may catch the inside fabric or not insert easily if you are in a hurry. I say give this one a try. The price point, quality, function and style or so worth it!

This is a very heavy coat and I tried it out during the snowstorm that just hit the Midwest this Thanksgiving weekend. I stood outside playing with the dog for a while and it kept me perfectly warm. I bought an XL because of the reviews but I could have ordered the Large, the sleeves are a bit long and I'm 5'6 and 170 lbs. The hood detaches and it's a bit loose but I like how the coat zips and snaps up and has the additional two snaps for the hood so it covers your chin too if you want or just tuck it under. The 40 mph gusty winds were nothing to this hood.

This jacket has been the best I've purchased from the internet and I would recommend it to anyone facing temps in the low 20s/30s for winter. It is perfect for a snowball fight or a cold winter morning taking the kids to school. It has several pockets - two are hidden, a quality zipper and waterproof material. There are snaps that cover the zipper up to the chin for extra warmth, which I love. I would recommend it. Burgundy color looks very nice. It has some shape to it for the waist.

Well worth the money! I shopped around in department stores and the prices were crazy. This is the total package. Light weight, warm, comfortable and affordable. I love that it has plenty of pockets and even one hidden on the inside. Beautiful assortment of colors, I might get another one.
