She was seeking something heavier than a light weight puffer and a choice for when she wanted to be warm and not bundled for a blizzard. This jacket hit the mark. We ordered two different jackets- both well-rated. This was her favorite. She liked the comfort, fit, the inside pockets (a major plus) and the color. As for sizing, she is typically an XL when it comes to jackets from major retailers.

I like this coat! The problem is that I bought it to go under a raincoat for a trip to Ireland & it's a bit too bulky & tight under that. I don't need another winter coat so have to send it back. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice puffer jacket. Hood zipped off without a problem. Zipper zips up & down without problem. Pockets are lined with a nice soft fleece-like liner, and snap, not zip, but that wouldn't be a game changer for me anyway. I will keep this coat in mind when I'm in the market for another one, but right now it just doesn't work for what I needed for my trip.

The coat is very nice and true to size as a small. Its snug so if you like a little room then medium would be best and still look very nice. It’s kinda cozy and warm and it’s comfortable.

I wish the pockets were a little deeper, and this jacket hasn't gone through the sub-zero test yet, but it stands up well to an ordinary chilly day. It's a very basic jacket, but a good buy and very comfortable.
