I think $200 for shipping is too much. As a first time e-bike purchaser I don't know a lot of the questions that need to be asked now I know a lot of things that I would have asked. The Good: Suspension is amazing I'm on the heavy side and around 5'8 and the bike doesn't bottom out it's smooth over bumps better than any bike I've ever ridden. Fat tires are amazing on pavement as well as the dirt. Eight speed gives you plenty of ability to find a gear that matches the speed. Decent power, because my gear is usually set on 8th, I like to start off using the throttle and then catch up with pedaling and it does that really well. I love night riding because the headlight is so bright it lights up the entire road and having a brake light that is so bright makes me feel safe. The display is quite bright and easy to read. Battery compartment is great for concealing and protecting the battery from the elements And it has the lock to lock it in the frame and to turn it on and off, in the of position no power gets to the bike at all. The bike looks awesome it's a beast everyone that has seen my bike loves it I got the gray edition it is sharp The paint is good the welds on the aluminum are perfect The construction of it is worth the price. The motor is gutsy but I will say has less power starting than I was expecting due to the gearing to give it the high speed of 32 mph. The bike is very heavy which isn't a positive but the hydraulic brakes easily stop the bike most reviews show the same. The bike was almost fully assembled All I had to do was put the tire on and the handlebars. The seat is very comfortable The Bad: No manual comes with the display that I got (Yolon YL81F) I included a picture of the display I received. The controller does not have the ability to program speeds of the various PAS levels so riding with friends may be a problem but in my things to know section below I will show you how to set the cruise control and other things about that. Factory stem makes you reach pretty far away from the seat I replaced mine as soon as I opened the box with an adjustable one that raised it up higher as well. Factory installed controls on the handlebars need to be rearranged otherwise your hand will continually be rubbed by the brakes YouTube reviews show what I'm talking about there, All you need to do is adjust them away from your hand better as the hand grips are too small for medium to larger hands. I'd rather have a twist grip for a throttle than a thumb grip. Would have liked a bike accessory mount for a water bottle holder. Things to know: I couldn't find a display operation manual but Kevin's told me how to set the cruise so I thought I would share it here. To set the cruise bring the bike up to the speed you want it to stay at using the throttle and once you've reached the speed, while keeping the throttle fixed at that speed, press and hold the minus button for two to three seconds you'll see the cruise control light up on the display and it will maintain the speed that you are at. How that helps, as I said before I rode with a friend his e-bike was a mile and a half per hour off in every PAS level than my bike so I was forced to use my throttle the whole time and if I peddled it would take off and go faster or slower than my friend's bike... With the cruise control set you can still pedal and it won't defeat the cruise speed. I only wish you could increase the speed by half a mile an hour by pressing up or the down buttons other than that though this is better than nothing. I only have 44 miles on it and the main reason for that is because we've got freezing temperatures lately today it was 52° and I was able to take a 15 mi ride enjoyed every bit of it. I was able to get the spike for $1599 - $500 coupon... Add the $200 shipping to that and I do believe it's worth that money. Although I'm not getting the answers from Kevin's or from wallke that I would like I think they're doing a good job responding to me very quickly so all in all I'm very happy with my decision to purchase this bike. ... show more

Receiving this bike was quite the ordeal. I ordered it in march and the shipping date was not until late may. I emailed wallke about it, and after a few times, they finally emailed me back. They were actually very helpful and immediately sent a different color than what i wanted out that week. From the blogs on the wallke website, it appears as though covid has slowed down their shipping imports. As a Fan of japanese motorcycles, i was quite impressed with the quality of this bike! Chinese quality has come a long way! Part placement is well thought out and correctly installed. The welds are ground and everything! Great job boys! Many of the components were aluminum and one must use caution when torquing bolts. The youtube videos on the xpro 3 were pretty spot on. How does it compare with my other ebikes?- i have some that are quicker, especially up hills..but with this bike, i can fold it, put it in my car, roll to my fav secret surf spot, and ride my bike the back way in! Awesome! The only catch was the gooseneck stripped easily when i was putting it together. But it worked out for me because the factory handlebars are placed way to far forward!- and i ride sportbike motorcycles!!! I bought a tougher steel neck and a pitbike handlebar— now its perfect!!! everything else was smooth. This bike is extremely humungous, so im going to perform a few mods— add a surf rack, and install a suspension seat post— the back shock isnt responsive until you hit large jumps. I notice most ebikes are just way to big for humans! Perhaps china is building bikes for the return of the nephilum! Other than that, its rad!....... Also, i recomend shopping around, there are some other models that have cheaper components, like opeak for less money.- so research it. The Cons—-its way to big & needs to be tweaked. Also, the batteries are more expensive than other designs, so if you need a replacement its going to cost a little more. Note: the above pix are after adding a zoom suspension seat post and pitbike handlebar. This improved the bike by huge measures!! I recommend all wallke bike owners do it. ... show more

First thing, I upgraded from a one speed Huffy that I had purchased at walmart for $100. I rode that sweet little thing to and from work five days a week for two years. So coming from that and moving to a 2021 Wallke was the most tremendous upgrade I have ever given my self. THIS BIKE IS AMAZING! Riding a Walkke is like riding on clouds. Ive ridden this thing down flights of stairs, over potholes five inches deep, through wooded and sandy areas I would have never dared to take my Huffy and this bike just doesnt care! It rides like a dream even without power assist but when you turn it on the steep hills just melt away! It's built like a tank, looks amazing, and everything accept the phone holder and headlight feels so premium. I love taking it out in the pouring rain and thrashing it through mud, dirt and soil. It's an absolute joy to ride and it's got me going outdoors a lot more even in this hideous January weather. 10/10 would buy Wallke again! ... show more
