These supports are a bargain for the price, but remember that you get what you pay for in terms of its ability to hold weight. These supports are solidly built and of good quality, but they are not heavy-duty, and one set cannot be filled to capacity with lumber, EMT, or steel pipe without possible structural failure. I purchased three sets at this low price: one for sched 40/80 PVC and two to distribute my stock of 2 x 4’s and 2 x 10’s. Another issue with the product is that the front of the forks only has a pin, which limits stacking pipe higher than a few inches; any higher, and you risk the pipes rolling over the pins. Overall, I rate this item at four stars. It’s an excellent value for garage organization and stacking small amounts of pipe and lumber, but it is limited in weight support and its ability to hold pipe. If you have a lot of lumber I recommend buying several sets to distribute the weight or look for a more heavy-duty solution.

I ordered this lumber storage rack for my outbuilding that has exposed treated posts. It is sturdy and easy enough to install with the right tools. The attachment screws/lags are very large and seem to be a bit over-kill for the size of the bars and the amount/weight of lumber they will hold, but I suppose bigger is better than smaller when accommodating any weight that might occur. I suppose you could also use slightly smaller screws, if you know that weight will not be excessive. The installation kit also contains plastic receptors for installation in drywall, but personally I would not use that method. I prefer to always mount heavy storage items like this directly into studs or solid posts. It comes in different attractive color options, if that matters to someone trying to match or complement a particular décor. This kit seems to be a good value for what it provides, although I have not shopped extensively for similar products for comparison purposes. My analysis is thus far I am happy with this product, it works as advertised, and it met a need I had for better storage options re my lumber, pipes, plus longer miscellaneous items. I can recommend it.

This is a solid rack system for organizing lumber, pipe and conduit in your garage. I was a little disappointed that it required assembly. I've picked up quite a few similar racks recently that were rigid and didnt fold, and didnt require assembly. I cant really imagine a scenario where I would want to fold these up, so the added effort for assembly was a bit of a turnoff, but if you think the folding feature would be great for you than I would buy without hesitance. Materials are quality and the rack is sturdy, I'm just deducting stars for the inconvenience of the extra steps to put them to use.

This is a good rack for lightweight storage, though it may not be what you want if you’re looking to put a lot of weight on it. For the price this is a good storage option though and it can also be used as a shelf support. No complaints and would get for light storage.

This is a great wall mounted wood storage rack. It's easy to install and it's very strong. Able to support plenty of big wood lengths with no issue. It's great that they can fold up and out of the way when not in use.

I have a small amount of lumber that I needed to get off the garage floor. After digging around online for a simple solution, I found this wood organizer. I was able to mount this over my garage door opener on the wall and it works perfect. Installation wasn't as easy as i thought. Most of the other organizers like this don't have a folding feature. I'm not sure when that would come in handy though. For me, I just want to store lumber on it. Maybe if the lumber was empty I might want to fold the arms in to get them out of the way, but in all honesty, they wouldn't be in the way in the location where I installed them. Because of the folding arms, the installation was a bit more difficult. In retrospect, I would've foregone the folding spec to make installation easier if I had a choice. The material is good and the rack seems very stable. The only other thing I wish is that there were 3 in a pack instead of 2. Some of my lumber is longer and I would like it supported from both the middle and towards the ends. It is limiting somewhat if you have both long and short boards because you want the long boards supported, but if the arms are too far apart, the short boards can't be supported. I don't want my lumber to bow in time if not supported. I know I can order another set though also.
