I got a few others before this that didn't help. I was teaching and standing up a lot. My feet were KILLING me and when I got these they barely hurt at the end of the day! I was heavy set when I first got these (200+lbs, female 5'6") and my own weight was against me. These were so pain relieving and I have since lost 60 lbs and these still work great! The arch is just right for my foot, I really needed arch support and it was so hard to find. They last a long time, I've had them 1.5 yrs still going strong.

I have purchased these in many colors and have found them all to be a great help for my arthritic feet. When you first look at them you wonder 'how are these going to help"? They are not exactly super soft. They slip easily into my shoes. For me...I put them right on top of the insole that comes with the sneaker. You might have to remove that. I get them when they are on sale and have them in all of my athletic shoes. I doubt these would fit into women's dress shoes as they are not that thin. Perfect though for your sneakers which I practically live in. At nearly 71 I am able still walking over 50 miles a week...and these help with that. Try them...I heartily recommend.

A bit of planar fascitis from outside shoes and house slippers, neither of which had any arch support...was getting bad as every once in awhile I'd get a stabbing pain in my heel...one time it took me down on my back..if I'd have fallen forward I'd have done a face plant in the gravel walkway...so far, fingers crossed, I can say I haven't had any more episodes, so I'll call them a winner...put them in my house slippers and went out and bought a pair of Sketchers with a built in support...

I wanted to have multiple arch supports and not pay what my podiatrist wanted to charge me. Online at Amazon, I came across the Walkhero supports. I chose the ones I did which said they were good for both high arched and flat arched feet. I'm neither. I have a low arch foot but it's not flat. I find that they provide good support. I also think that the supports are helping me to walk more correctly than I would otherwise. I'm contemplating getting 2 or 3 more so that I don't have to change them out from one shoe to another so often. I do have multiple shoes, but I wear about 5 to 10 of them the most.

I have used shoe inserts for many years, but it was time to replace some old inserts - and these looked great. I inserted them into my shoes and proceeded to walk a 3.5 mile loop around the local lake - with complete comfort. Unfortunately, these inserts had slightly higher and firmer arches than my old inserts and my feet must not have been used to the additional support. A couple hours later, my foot started to hurt. The next day was even worse -- so bad that I went to a Doctor for treatment. I don't think it had anything to do with the inserts -- again, they fit great and they were very comfortable, but as is the case with ANY new inserts, use sparingly until your feet adjust. And increase usage as your feet accept the change.
