I’ve searched high and low for a loft bed that 1) was budget friendly 2) had the best reviews. This bed isn’t perfect, but I knew that going in and overall, I’m happy with it and would make the purchase again. It’s not hard to put together, but it is a lot of pieces and will take you a little while. It is what it is. You got a whole bed shipped to you, expect that it’s going to require effort. The pieces are clearly labeled and the instructions are very straightforward. I love the underneath storage, which is why I got it in the first place, because it saves so much floor space in our children’s bedroom and allowed us to set up their homeschool area in the same space. I’m able to fit their toy kitchen and their work table underneath, plus a few other items. I read the other reviews about the ladder rungs being hard on the feet and to add pipe foam installation. I had every intention of doing so, but haven’t gotten around to it. Honestly, yes, the rungs are hard, but my kids have had it for 3 or 4 months now and haven’t complained. I think they’ve just gotten used to it. So I’m not sure if I’ll go back and add the insulation. The bed does slight rock a little bit when getting in and out. However, one of the rails is off on mine as the bed is pushed up against the wall. I’m sure this takes away from the overall sturdiness, but it’s not a major concern for me. The bed also comes will wall anchors, so if you use them, you’ll be ok. It’s a pain in the butt making the bed, but I’ll sacrifice that for sake of having a loft bed and keeping my floor space. Overall, I’d say this bed is a solid 3.5/4 stars. I have a hard time purchasing anything that isn’t a 4.5 or higher, but compared to the other options I’ve seen on Amazon, I’m pleased with my purchase. ... show more

This loft bed is surprisingly nice. I got the white color which I didn't think I'd like but was cheaper(I can't help sale shopping) than grey and I like it a lot. It didn't start wobbling until 2-3 weeks after using it but the wobble makes me think the side rail might fall off eventually if I don't keep re tightening a few "screws" every few weeks. I think I might have less wobble than most people because I have one end of the loft bed wedged in between my wall and my couch. Then one side has a metal shelf with same height against it. I only banged my head under it 5 times before the first few days now I don't. One problem I still have is accidentally scraping or lightly punching my wall or ceiling when stretching or repositioning my blanket. I like to watch tv before bed so really the only thing I can think of that would make this loft bed better is the choice of removing the top TWO rails out of the FOUR rails of the, "front" side(or maybe just remove the second down from the top rail of that piece..). I have to peek in between the bars with my crappy two separate visions and it gives me a slight headache and neck crap. Kinda annoying. This thing also makes creaking noises if you make repetitive motions. My mattress is 10 inches and fit fine. Even with my cons I'm giving this 5 stars for saving space and not breaking. I would definitely NOT recommend more than one adult on this at a time. ... show more

I hesitate to write this review as the bed has been assembled for just less than 3 months, but so far so good. Definitely easier to put together than I expected. My wife and I did it in an hour and change. No issues, no fighting ;) Everything was fine. Pieces all there. Everything fit. Instructions and labels made sense. We did not buy the more expensive options and we are NOT complaining. But if you are looking for something sturdy, this is not it. We feel safe with our son sleeping in the bed - but we are aware that the materials feel somewhat thin and cheaper and that the bed itself isn't rock solid. Plenty of shakiness. We pay attention, we check and tighten the screws and we remind our son not to get wild and crazy in there ... but it's good to keep in mind that it's a $200 bed and not a $400 bed. We also dislike the ladder and the need to climb over the top of the safety rails, but our son does not mind at all and that is more important. We were limited by space and dimensions. This bed was perfect and there were very few other options. In the end, we are pleased with the purchase and as long as your expectations are properly set, we recommend it. ... show more
