This cabinet is nice looking. And it arrived sooner than expected. Obviously, for the price, it is veneer on engineered board, but it is attractive, not super cheesy. It is also sturdier than I expected. The back piece has the veneer on both sides instead of just being a piece of reinforced cardboard, which is super nice. As well as reinforcing clips to make it even sturdier. I was wary after all the reviews complaining about the terrible instructions but it was pretty easy to assemble. Just be slow and read the instructions carefully, double check that you have the correct part and the correct hardware and everything is oriented in the right way. I find it helps to look at a picture of the finished product as I go. Using a driver (carefully! So as not to over tighten) it took me a little under 2 hours start to finish. Not expecting it to last forever, but I’m happy with it and would purchase again. ... show more

This is a beautiful piece of furniture! I love the look and the sturdiness of it. It is perfect for my needs. I did struggle with some of the directions and making sense of the drawings (especially regarding the drawer slides). This took me about 5 hours to put together, on my own, but it wasn’t hard, just tedious, and I hadn’t done this before. The result is worth it, it is beautiful! My biggest issue is that I was sent the wrong screw for the section I highlighted in the photos. It was too long, and before I realized it, it had come through the front of the door. 🤦🏻♀️😰 So now I have a hole in the door, that I suspect is not going to age well. Not to mention the fact that I will always be aware of its presence. The other screw was the right length, so I will have to take it to the hardware store to find a match. I believe they are just to keep the door magnetically closed. It’s just so disheartening to have a hole in the door over such a small, insignificant part! ... show more

Allow time to put it together. Directions are similar to that big blue store with the 4 yellow letters, but not as clear. Pay attentions to drawling details and don’t tighten too much, until you are certain correct sides connected. Just a word to the wise. Ultimately worth the time to assemble.

I understand people leaving bad reviews if peice are scratched or broken. Other than that there is no way this isn't a great TV stand. I got this to match the TV stand I bought of the same style. I did have to pay someone to put it together and it took them (an experienced person) a little over an hour. It looks great. I wish the drawer had a smoother sliding mechanism but overall it’s a nice piece of furniture
