My daughters love their bed! It was not too difficult to assemble, but did take a couple hours. It seems sturdy, as I am 150lb and often have to climb up into the top bunk to lie down with my 5 year old. The color of the wood is beautiful, and the design just overall looks very pleasing. Having this bunk bed has saved us a lot of space in my daughters’ very small room. It was either this or they’d have to share a full sized bed which would leave very little room for toys or their dresser. I definitely believe that this bed was a great value for the price, and if for some reason I had to, I would buy it again. Beds look great. Low profile makes it easier to put fitted sheet on top bed. A bit hard to crawl under to make the lower bed.

I can see why this bed would take a long time to assemble if you’re using the allen wrenched provided. However, my husband used his impact driver and I think it took him about 1 hour to put together by himself. It’s a great bed! Sturdy, well made, feels like real solid wood. No wiggling or anything. Easy assembly, it took me and my friend 2 hours to assemble. Make sure that when your assembling you have the right parts in the exact spot bc ladder placement. We accidentally switched the two bottom side rails and had to quickly switch them around once we noticed. As others have noted this product does have an awful smell that lingers, we’ve had this product set up for 3 days and i can still smell it upon entering the room even w the windows open. After assembly I got on the top bunk to do a safety test to make sure it was sturdy before my kids used it. Although it did hold me just fine while lying down ( 170lbs) , when I got on the bed the pressure from me mounting the bed in a kneeling position caused the slat underneath me to make some sketchy cracking noise. As others have noted I added an extra set of slats to the top bunk. I had them from our old bed, but if your buying this I suggest ordering an extra set of slats and doubling up top. Lastly, the side rails of the bed have weirdly sharp edges. The entire bed actually had sharp edges. I wish they were more “rounded” edges on the wood pieces. My 4 y/o can get up using the awkward ladder just fine, and I love that I can kiss her goodnight on the on the top bunk very easily without having to climb it ... show more

My 4 and 7 year old love this bed! I have some wild sleepers so I was scared for them to be in a high bunk this floor bunk gave me peace of mind and my girls absolutely love it, it was also very easy to assemble!

I was skeptical on how it was going to be from the reviews, but took a chance and everything showed up great. The assembly was done with both my husband and I since our two boys 5 and 3 1/2 "try" but reverse help. It did not take long at all to assemble. My 3 1/2 year old loves it. It is tall enough to have a fort underneath and short enough that I'm not too worried about the height. It is very sturdy for them! I would not suggest an adult climbing in the bed. So we bought another one for our 5 year old, since the 3 1/2 year old needed out of the convertible crib immediately. The second bed came with a defect on one of the posts. I was worried contacting stores 123 because they may be out for the holidays. They responded that day Christmas eve and even on New years eve. They kept me informed all the way through (till delivery of the new bed) and even gave me options right away. The new bed once they contacted the manufacturer was sent out right away and delivered within a week. Stores 123 exceeded my expectations for what a company would go through to replace a defective product: They responded within 24hrs, went out of their way to keep me informed even during the holiday season, and made sure I was happy with the delivery of the replacement product. The boys are so very happy with their beds. Thank you so very much Stores 123 (especially Amari). Highly recommend this bed as well as the company for its outstanding customer service. ... show more

Assembling any furniture is not easy. The bottom bunk is small, so we have our toddler there, so she doesn't have to climb or get hurt. I cannot sit up right under there. Top is for older daughter. It is very sturdy, and no toys or junk can go underneath it. It's a pian getting sheets on the bottom but that's because our mattress is a little thick and I'm 8 months pregnant. In the long run, I don't like it, at least the bottom part. It's too crammed. ... show more

Had this bed for 9 months, and it’s already cracking, and breaking apart! I really don’t recommend this bed! Made very cheaply! As you can see there is a crack, and the other part in the 2nd picture, the bolts just flew out on its own. My kids sleep on this bed, and there’s no way for them to take the bolts out. My oldest is 5, today I noticed that the wooden stick is just hanging there… no one touched it. This bed is literally falling apart! ... show more
