I’ve been searching for a long time now for one of these but was really picky on what I wanted and was scared to buy one because of reviews, price, etc. on other ones. I looked at TONS of different kinds of these and the reason I chose this one was because the reviews were a little helpful as ensuring it was good quality, what they were looking for, and a nice fit. However, it didn’t help in the reviews when people take pictures and don’t say their height and/or weight because then you’re rolling the dice. I finally just decided I’d had enough looking and went ahead and bought this one and am SO glad I did!!! I was a little hesitant because of the price but I figured it’s fine for the time being because I’ve wanted it for so long and, now that I have it, it’s great quality, it’s exactly what I was looking for, it’s really cute and exactly as pictured, there was no weird smell or anything which was nice, and the color I chose was Black (which can be a total hit or miss) and it was a true dark black color. I am 5’7 and weigh about 120 lbs. and it goes all the way down to my shins. There’s a hoody which is kinda cool too! I love the giant hoodie type pocket in the middle for you to put your hands in to keep warm. The texture is very soft like a soft blanket. It’s slightly cinched at the wrists with a different fabric material that is like a ribbed sweater made from cotton - so it’s great to be able to pull up the sleeves if need be and they’ll stay up or just in general I think it’s nice because I think it would be more robe-like if it didn’t have something like this to taper off and make it like a shirt at the sleeve ends. It’s roomy, like SUPER roomy. I’m naturally hot natured and keep my house at 64 degrees (which is cold to some and sometimes it’s cold for me at times but mostly where I’m comfortable despite everyone else telling me it’s an igloo). However, I wore this thing practically all day long (thinking at some point shortly in, I would start getting too hot and want to take it off) and I kept it on comfortably most of the entire day until towards the end when I was going up and down my stairs a lot and more active doing things throughout the house. This is PERFECT for laying down in to read and not needing a blanket to cover up with. The Snuggie walked so this thing could run. I would definitely recommend!!! I hope it holds up over time in the wash; it seems like it will, though! And if it doesn’t that would be the only downfall to this.

If you want the blanket to fit like the picture, order the Oversize not the standard. No matter how small or short you are. I'm 5'3 125lbs and the standard fit like a really large sweatshirt that fell below my knee. But the over size fit like a blanket...and fell to my ankle 😁. I returned the standard and kept the Oversized. I'm very happy with it!!!!! It's warm and soft. I did knock off 1 star because it was HORRIBLE to wash!!!!!!! It is HEAVY when wet and was constantly throwing off the balance of my washer (I have a standard washer). My washer struggled so much I thought it was going to break. It did not go through the spin cycle well, leaving the blanket soak and wet. It took forger to dry in the drier!!!! I will take this to the laundromat and put it in one of the larger washer and dryers next time when it needs cleaning.

Daughter's stats: 5'3 105lbs 15 years old My daughter plays travel and high school soccer, so we are always on the road, and she is outside nearly every day of the year. Now, to understand my struggle with my child is to know that 1. she is a blanket child. Always needs so form or texture that is a blanket. 2. She is stubborn as hell. That is probably why I was in labor for nearly 18 hours 3. If you believe in it, she is a Taurus. should be self-explanatory. As the child she is, she refuses to wear leggings or compression pants with her shorts. I had to fight her to accept wearing compression shirts (thin or thick, depending on the season). It could be 30 mph winds and she would still be in shorts, freezing. She didn't like the jackets. She didn't like the warm-up pants, which are leggings and not practical to take off and on while you are in cleats, shin guards, and all the gear. Side note: What happened to tear-away pants?! Seriously. I saw a family wearing Snuggies. I talked to them about why they love them so much. All the thing she mentioned, "windproof, easy to take off and on. My daughter is a blanket kid," that right there sold me. We ordered this wearable blanket and it arrived the next day. Thank you AMAZON! My daughter was skeptical by the length and "why does it need a pocket." Let me tell you, the moment she put it on, it has barely come off sense. She loves the soft fabric but it is also heavy. She says when she sleeps in it, it is similar feeling to her weighted blanket but not as heavy. She likes the length. It stops just about where her shins are so she doesn't have to worry about it getting muddy from dragging. I highly recommend to year-round athletes and their families who support them in all the seasons! We have ordered another one for her as a backup when the first one is being cleaned. We will be purchasing these for our household and extended family members because they are THAT AWESOME!
