Very impressed with this sweat belt. First it does provide a very good amount of lumbar support which is great because I normally use a back/lumbar support belt on the treadmill anyways, so now I am able to eliminate using the lumbar belt and use this instead. Using this as a lumbar support belt AND a sweat belt to help with water weight, is just another added bonus. The neoprene is not at all irritating and actually I like the feeling. You will notice at first the strong odor of the belt, which is just the neoprene/rubber, but it does go away especially with hand washing the belt so don't be too put off. For reference, I have a 31" waist, purchased the XL to be on the safe side and probably could've purchased just the Large and been fine, but the XL is great. This belt is also very fairly priced so I'm super happy with this sweat belt. ... show more

    • Excellent Neoprene Waist Trainer Belt!

I have several neoprene waist trainer belts, and I really like them. I wear them on my daily walks to increase sweat, and I wear them working at my desk in my home office for posture support. When you first open the package, the smell is strong - like being in a tire store. Before wearing it for the first time, I soaked it overnight in a bucket filled with water and about a half cup of vinegar. The following morning, I rinsed it out, and hung it out to dry. The smell is now almost completely gone. The fabric doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. This belt has double Velcro closures, which allows you to adjust the fit to your specific needs. It provides targeted, comfortable compression as well as posture support. I think the current price of $11.99 is an excellent price for a compression belt of this quality. ... show more

It’s very comfortable to wear all day and looks discreet under a tank top and under a breezy T-shirt. I’ve only worn it for two days so while I cannot update on the progress of flattening my mom pooch, I can say that it is effective in sweating the area without any discomfort. I haven’t exercised in it but I have done house chores and moved around after little ones quite a bit and it has not rolled or moved. It stays in place quite well, even after accumulating sweat. It is able to wrap without needing an additional person to help. The wide velcro is very durable and strong. There's definitely a LOT more sweat around my middle when I use this belt, but unfortunately due to my current physical shape, there are a couple places where the sweat "leaks" from the belt and I get a massive wet spot on my workout clothes. Now that could just be due to my singular body shape, but it is something to be aware of. The worst is the small of my back -- because of the dip in my back, the sweat runs down and hits the top of my butt and soaks my workout shorts right at the top of my butt.     • Wraps easily around my waist and holds tight

I actually was having some lower back pain when this band arrived so I put it on right away which acted well as a brace. I was pleasantly surprised at how it helped with my lower back pain as it held everything in. I got this in medium and my waist is within the measurement bounds within the size chart for this size. It fits and I would say it is true to size. The fabric smells strong of neoprene and will need some time to let it air out, I really dislike this smell. The velcro is wide and plentiful so it will hold on really tight without it coming loose. I do find that after wearing it for awhile that it is warm against my skin but I wouldn't say it is a sweat belt or have any kind of sauna action. I think it's a great way to do waist trainer wearing it around the house while doing other stuff or even sitting at the desk. I found that it helps me be more mindful of not slouching when sitting. Overall, I think this is a very easy to use product that has benefits beyond when is in the listing. I'm glad I was able to get this to try out. ... show more

Wish I had been able to get it in purple instead of pink! I'm on the larger side and started going to the gym. I have not yet worn this AT the gym, but will update my review hopefully after I do a few sessions with it. My waist is 44 in and I ordered the xl which was perfect. The size chart is pretty spot on. Since it has velcro, getting it too big isn't as much of an issue and you can strap it smaller. It is comfortable to move around in and has a neoprene-feel lining which keeps it in place. Looking forward to using this to get to my new body! It has a small carry bag as well so it packs away easy ... show more
