Installed these on a 85 Chevy C10 truck. They fit perfectly. For those complaining about the missing clips, consider this. If you needed clips, don't you think they would be included? I must admit for the novice it might be a bit of a challenge but here is how it works. You first need to take the cap off your brake fluid reservoir. This allows a place for the brake fluid to expand. Next put the old pad upside down on the caliper side, attach a C clamp and crank the C clamp so the piston goes all the way back. Next put both new pads on. When slipping them back over the rotor the inside one will likely "drop" down. Don't get excited. Simply use a set of needle nose pliers to pull the top of the pad up and while there, thread the bolt into the caliper and "under" the brake pad bracket. Once you get the top put the bottom bolt through the same way which also might take a little maneuvering but it CAN be done. Once attached there is no way for the pads to fall back down since the bolt is under the pad bracket which prevents this. When done attach the reservoir cap back on, pump the brakes until they are firm, and then fill the reservoir to the top. I was done in 1/2 hour. No big deal. As for the "feel" I do notice it is a softer braking instead of that grabbing on hard brake pads. So for 25 bucks, it sure as heck beats taking it to a mechanic and him emptying your wallet. ... show more

  • Great pads, no noise, low dust. Better than pads that cost twice as much.
Style: TQ - Ceramic Size: QC52
I've gone through a few of these on different cars and can't say anything bad. I can't believe that they are so inexpensive here on Amazon. I've also had good luck with the Bendix ceramic but they seem to cost more. The ThermoQuiet pads stop my cars with no issues. One is a near 5,000 lb station wagon with crappy drum brakes in the back. Never any noise and barely any dust. For about around 25 bucks these are a bargain. The noise isolating shim is riveted on the back which keeps it from shifting out of place. As of 2013 these are made in USA. I can say that the Pep Boys Pro Stop ceramics are really bad. Twice I've ended up with those just because they were available nearby at the time I needed pads. They were at least $50 and are Pep Boys premium pad. They must have a huge profit margin as they are made in China and the only premium thing about them is their packaging. Their shims are just flimsily clipped onto the back. They are able to move out of place and hit the disks and or change the pad alignment. It's too bad that, like Pep Boys, many other chain parts retailers don't carry good pads like the ThermoQuiets anymore. They all seem to be marketing their own brand of junk in a fancy package. I'm glad Amazon is selling these pads. ... show more

  • Decent cheapies
Style: QS - Ceramic Size: ZD52
These are about what you’d expect. Installing was simple enough, they came with that special grease for the back. I put them on new rotors and no squeaking or noises from install into 2 weeks of daily driving in rain and snow. Decent stopping power, not the best. Build quality matches price, but again they work well and don’t make noise so I’m happy. ... show more

  • Stopped squealing and brakes smooth
Style: QS - Ceramic Size: ZD52
My old pads were cooked and glazed, the rotors were pretty smooth and felt a little glazed too, but I didn't resurface the rotors Sprayed off the rotors witha little brake cleaner, and the pads wore in perfectly. Quiet and not as grippy as old pads but that's because they were totally fried... Good quality clips, shims, and grease ... show more

  • Good so far
Style: TQ - Ceramic Size: QC52
I have used these before. Good price and quality. They are quiet, dust is reasonable, and stop fine. Always replace caliper hardware when replacing brake pads.
