It was time to replace the front brakes on my Toyota Highlander, and our trusted local mechanic wanted $200 for said procedure. That's not an unreasonable price to pay these days, but I knew I could do this myself, and I actually had the time (a whole hour*) to do it. If you're the DIY type, this is one of those jobs where once you do it, you'll chuckle at the thought of ever going back to a mechanic for brakes. If you don't have the means (or desire) to install these yourself, most shops will recognize the Wagner brand, and will be happy to install these for you, saving a few bucks on the "parts" portion of the ticket. Order them here, and save on MSRP... Compared to the OEM pads, I didn't really notice a huge difference with regard to stopping power, fade or noise. This, of course, is more of a testament to Toyota's quality than a dig on Wagner's. Where I DID notice a difference was in the amount of brake dust accumulating on the mag wheels. The rims have remained significantly cleaner than with standard pads, which means you're gonna high-five yourself when you spend 3 minutes cleaning your wheels with a mitt and standard car wash, vs. 5 minutes each with a toothbrush in every nook and cranny! ... show more

I bought these for a 2013 Toyota Highlander and they install easy and have good stopping power, but I noticed squeeling after less than 2 years. My wife drives like she is always late for everything, but they only got about 15k miles out of them.
