This is my second drawing tablet. My first was a HUION HS611. I purchased the HUION based on a positive review I saw on YouTube, and the price was pretty good. I thought that getting used to a drawing tablet might be a painful and frustrating process once I started using the Huion. After seeing how much everyone was raving about Wacom tablets online, I decided to give it a try. If I didn't like it, I could always return it and keep the Huion instead (and save some money!). This is the one I ultimately decided to keep. The difference was day and night. While it felt like I had to fight the Huion tablet every step of the way to get a good, clean line, the Wacom tablet does exactly what I expect it to do. Using it feels good. The texture has a little bite, but it's also extremely quiet and feels so smooth and buttery. My only complaint is that the buttons and nobs of the tablet are located at the top, which makes them cumbersome to use. However, paired with a TourBox Elite, this issue disappears (and frankly, it's a better solution than a tablet with the buttons on the side anyway). Now I use them to control actions like computer volume and to switch screens; actions that are infrequent and don't interrupt my drawing process anyway. If you're considering getting this but the price is hurting your soul, here are some things to think about. First, if you are a professional and make your living from your artwork, there is no other option. The pain of trying to get a lesser tablet to work the way you want is not worth your time. The more time you spend pressing undo, the more time you're not drawing and making money. Second, if you are a hobbyist or you're fairly new to digital drawing, this will be the least frustrating way to do it. I thought that I wouldn't be able to draw on my computer after getting the Huion. I probably would have gone back to pen and paper if I didn't get the Wacom. Save up and get this. Upgrading to the Wacom Intuos Pro Large (2025) has been a total game-changer for my design workflow! Having previously felt that my hand was always falling off the edge of medium-sized tablets, the massive 13.7 x 7.7-inch active area on this model finally gives me the room I need to breathe. Here’s why I’m loving it for my creative projects: The Pro Pen 3 is Next Level: It’s completely customizable, so I could adjust the weight, grip, and center of balance until it felt like a natural extension of my hand. It has near-zero lag and incredible pressure sensitivity that makes detailed line work feel effortless. Pro Shortcuts at My Fingertips: Moving the 10 ExpressKeys and those two mechanical dials to the top is such an ergonomic win. I’ve already mapped them to my most-used commands like undo, brush size, and timeline scrubbing, which has made my process so much faster. Perfect for Big Screens: If you use a large monitor or multiple displays, this is the one to get. It offers much higher fidelity for long, smooth strokes and lets me draw from the shoulder instead of just the wrist. Wireless Freedom: The Bluetooth 5.3 is super stable, and I’m getting about 16 hours of battery life, so I don't have to stay tethered to my desk all day.     • Improvements are more "quality of life" vs an actual "necessary" upgrade vs the 2017s

I already had the Wacom Intuos Pro 2017 (and have had all three sizes at various points) and overall was happy with it, but I decided the improvements of the 2025 model made it worth upgrading to: • Smaller physical footprint: I mainly work at my desk at home, but for the times when I take my laptop out to, say, a coffee shop, it's a more comfortable fit for both my laptop and Wacom 2025 Medium on a table versus the wider 2017s. I could fit the 2017 Medium but just barely, and it was a tight fit depending on the table size. With the 2025 that's no longer a problem. • Larger active area. While the active area on a 2017 Medium is adequate, depending on your monitor size it can still feel too crampt, but the 2025 active area is a lot more roomy. (This has the somewhat negative side effect of losing the bevels to rest your hand on, but the device is now thin enough that you get used to it pretty quick when you're on the edges; it's not a problem for me, but if you use it for drawing as opposed to photo editing it could be an issue.) • Third button on pen. I had the Wacom Movink briefly last year and while they included the Wacom Pro Pen 3, it was the barebones pen itself minus the grips, which I disliked. Fortunately for the Intuos Pros, they include all of the pen's accessories and I have the flair grip on the pen, which makes it great to use. I also love the third button (I rarely used the eraser button, so I don't miss that not being included here), as it enables more flexibility and convenience. • Bluetooth 5.3. I've seen multiple reviews, including here, going on about how bad the Bluetooth is, but I've noticed they are all on Windows 11, whereas I'm on a Mac, so I'm guessing the issue lies there. I've had issues with Wacoms drivers in the past on my Mac, so I'm just saying in this instance bluetooth works great; in face I've had ZERO connectivity issues on the 2025, whereas I regularly had problems on the 2017 even when plugged in, and it wasn't rare that I'd have to reboot the computer in order to get the tablet working again. That hasn't been an issue here. However, you can't ignore the complaints from the Windows 11 users, so if that's what you work on, be advised and maybe wait until Wacom fixes it. But on a Mac it's been an underrated bonus for it to "just work" when I power up my computer without having to make a fuss over connecting it, which was common on the 2017 (which has Bluetooth 4.2). Other things: • Photos don't do this device justice. People have complained that it looks "cheap", but when you actually have it in front of you and handle it, it is a premium device that is totally professional. • I use a Tourbox for my shortcut keys so I don't use the quick keys on the tablet itself, so their position at the top now instead of the side is a non-issue for me, and in fact is a net benefit in that it's allowed the device to be narrower (see above). • The 2025s no longer feature touch sensitivity, but I only used that feature as a cursor after I'd set the pen down to type something, so it's not a big loss for me. If touch was something you used extensively for actual editing (rotating the canvas, zooming in, etc), then you'll want to go with the 2017. In closing, this is a great recommendation, although if you feel the price is too steep, you can find great deals on used 2017s on eBay for less than half the price. ... show more

So I have been working for 15years on a antient wacom tablet and 8 years ago they stopped supporting the driver and It just kept getting worse with the new systems. Just saying that tablet is still functioning and amazing. So I decided to get a new one to finally have a new driver update to not have any more issues. Well, wow! So much better! I hated having no bezel though as I use it a lot in After effects and yes you constantly work in the bottom right corner where the timeline is. I decided well I just buy the older Version from last year, save some money and have my bezel back. I immediately hated the old pen, lagging and less real time feel. I'm already used to the new smooth feeling of the pen 3. The difference of the pen and tablet is crazy. Well I made my own bezel with some foam pieces with a cut out and a vinyl tape on top. Problem solved. Looks naah, but I'm happy now :) I will love the small size for travelling though. So slim and tough! So yeah, no bezel but power. I also put a glass pro screen cover for a tablet on it as I prefer glass feeling over scratchy. Works as intended ... show more

I have used Wacom tablets for nearly 30 years. They are the industry standard. Their new line is no exception. Beautiful, reliable and responsive, everything we’ve come to expect from Wacom. Their products have lasted longer than any of my machines. This is my experience. I upgraded from an Intuos 3. The new design of pen and tablet is exceptional. I would’ve given 5 stars except, the USB cord in the box did not work. I had to purchase a new cord before I could use my new tablet, Another $30. After decades of using their tablets, this was the first issue I ran into. Lastly, this works on my Windows 10, Windows 11, and MacBook Pro machines with Adobe Photoshop and two monitors. I plan on enjoying this tablet for years to come as this is my new daily beater. ... show more

The Wacom tablet was as expected. It's sturdy but lightweight, has a very nice feel with the pencil tool, and was quite easy to set up. I did have to look up a video on pairing the pencil, but it worked great. Now I just need to learn to use it!

When it work, it is truly a pleasure and adds quality to my photo editing and less discomfort when working for long stretches. All that said, the weak link on this product is the Pro Pen 3. It tries to be innovative (and suppose it is), but it is fragile/delicate and it only takes a small fall off the standard height desk to render it non-functional with the only recourse being to buy a new pen at $150. This is not new information and suspect this is well known by Watcom. While preparing for a visit from my daughter, I wanted to move my laptop and tablet to another desk, in the process the pen fell and the nib broke off. The pen is designed so that the cone over the nib cannot be removed and only with careful use of some micro-tweezers I was fortunate enough to have, was able to remove the remaining portion of the nib. Inserted a new nib and … nothing, no pen movement and the buttons didnt work. The pen was indeed toast. I contacted Watcom support, and they reported that the pen is fragile and a small fall will render it useless and that I needed to buy a new pen. This was a 2 week old Intuos Pro Medium. A little additional research in Google also yields similar customer experience with this pen, and more commonly with the buttons always breaking. The support person was quick to send me a summary of the warranty which does not include the pen….right, dont warrant the one part of the product which is severely flawed in design and prone to break and then make the price of that pen astronomical…turn a lemon into lemonade. Now, my support rep, with some persuasion went to bat for me and made some strong efforts via escalation to get me a resolution which was not of the $150 variety and we were able to come to a satisfactory solution. Side note is that it does work with the Pro Pen 2 and it may be a better solution to just get that pen. The tablet though is awesome, light, Bluetooth works great with no lag, and battery lasts forever. Highly configurable. Would I buy this again? Probably not. ... show more

    • Will not connect with StudioMac ( MacOS 15.6.1) no matter how many attempts.

MacOS 15.6.1 - current. Wacom has the worst drivers in the business. Will not connect to StudioMac Max no matter how one tries to do it. I've done both Bluetooth frequencies plus USB. The desktop application continues to report "No device connected." Apple -> Settings -> Bluetooth recognizes the tablet and can communicate with it. 6 attempts each with complete program erase, computer restart, download again, follow directions: "No device connected." So I'm ripped off for $400 and I need a tablet for my work. (Ps, Wacom's driver/program is the most invasive bit of software I've ever encountered in 40+ years of using Macintoshes. I found 38 different files in 6 different places when I was deleting it.) Have tried a 3rd party utility without success. Will try again. Oh, got busy and wasn't able to start set up for a month. Now can't return. If you use a Mac DON'T BUY WACOM. ... show more
