    • I love these mugs- but there’s one thing to note

This is my second of these mugs. I love the aesthetic of them. I think they are beautiful. I have the pink and the white. The silicone feels nice in your hand. It’s not insulated but I don’t mind. I don’t like my coffee to be pipping hot all day long. It’s not leak proof but the lid stays on pretty well so it’s no big deal if you keep it upright. I like that it’s dishwasher safe. This only has one con- at the bottom of the mug, there is a hole where the silicone ends and the ceramic is exposed in a circle shape- the silicone pulls away here and after washing it gets wet and stays wet. In between the silicone and ceramic stays wet sometimes for days. I have to pull the two pieces apart and shove a dish rag in there or a paper towel to dry it out. I let a paper towel sit in between the two pieces for a few hours before I put it away. ... show more

I love the shape, the colour, and the texture, but that silicone sleeve is so thin, and when I pour my drink it is so hot I can’t hold it at all and have to wait till it cools down.

Super cute, love the colors, love a lot of their other products but this cup is awful! Not useable for anything hot. The lid is useless as it doesn’t seal even a little. What’s the point of it? And the silicone base leaks from the dishwasher. It’s a terrible cup.

Pros: easy to grip, microwavable, easy to clean, cute, leak-proof (for thick drinks only). *If this accidentally falls on its side, a more viscous drink won't come out as long as you turn it upright moderately quick. Any thin liquid will come right out as soon as it's on its side. Cons: not insulated, makes hands hot/cold based on what you're drinking (the sleeve does little to protect you). Got this for my wife, initially she liked the look and color of it. First time using it and it is just barely too big to fit in her cars cup holder and after a 15-20 drive her coffee was no longer hot. Those were the two biggest issues. Cup looks nice, but isn’t insulated very well.

I love everything about this mug. One of the things it wanted me to rate was "leak-proof" which I gave 3 stars since it's not very leak-proof, but that's not very important to me. Anyways, I'm very particular about my morning tea ritual & was on the hunt for a travel mug that fit all my criteria. I bought this mug about a year ago and have used it almost every day for my morning tea which I make at home and take into the office with me. It fits in my car's cup holders and is so soft to hold. I do not put the mug in the dishwasher even though it says dishwasher safe. I do, however, put it in the microwave a lot. I sip on my tea for a couple hours in the mornings and the fact that I can microwave it means I can sip on hot tea all morning long. I prefer this ceramic mug over an insulated mug because I love to feel the warmth of the drink in my hands, and because something about drinking tea/coffee from a metal insulated mug seems unceremonious to me. Additionally, I like to take the lid off to be able to smell the aroma of my tea when I drink it. The color is so cute & the ceramic has remained stain-free despite constant use. Some stains do build up over time but I use baking powder + water or dawn power wash to get the stains out every once in a while. All parts of the mug (including the silicone sleeve) have maintained their shape, texture, and color. I HIGHLY recommend this mug to coffee/tea lovers. It is definitely worth the money. ... show more
