  • Easy and convenient
I bought this Minipresso for our grandson’s 18th birthday. In a text, I asked him how he liked it and he said: “ It was great! On friday, I didn't have time to grab coffee, and it definitely works as a substitute. Super easy and satisfying to use, won't have to watch the video again even! The taste was really great too!” ... show more

  • Great for coffee lovers
Bought as a gift for my dad who loves his espresso machine, but doesn't have one at his job. I was surprised to find that the product is very small and light weight, but is also very durable. Perfect for those who are always on the go or do not want a large machine to take up space. Only downside is that it only takes grounds, so if your coffee snob likes fresh ground beans then they'll need a separate grinder ... show more

  • Great portable Espresso
The product works great and is easy to use. It seems pretty durable despite the plastic design. Doesn't seem to hard to clean. I ran hot water through it without coffee grounds to help clean residue from the bottom where espresso comes out. I used a manual burr grinder and aimed for a fine ground something between the coarse ground for an aero press/French press and extra fine regular espresso grind. The only con I have with it is the small volume of espresso it makes. Tried running water through a second run with the same wet grounds but it came out like weakish coffee. Not quite enough to have a satisfying beverage from one run alone. However it pairs perfectly with an aero press if you want to add one or two runs of espresso to it. ... show more

  • Absolutely astonished by the quality!
It is so rare to buy something and think, "I will never need nor find better than this!" This is one of those products. I was raving to my brother about how great it is to grind espresso fine with this new grinder I bought. He sent me a photo of his! Haha. So, the word must be out. Really, its just a well built grinder. Probably one of the best built anything I've ever purchased. ... show more

  • Great expresso
Gave this as a gift to my son in law for his birthday. He is being transfered overseas. He was very excited to get it, and said the expresso tasted great. Especially since no electricity was needed.

  • I like it however…
I like it however I see many design flaws. First it’s plastic! I was sort of hoping it was some sort of metal. At least the tank where you put the hot water. The design flaws I find is cleaning. You can’t open the housing part where the expresso comes out. So who knows how much that will eventually build up with old coffee stains, perhaps making the espresso tasting bad (eventually though). You can only add clean water as if you were making espresso and try to clean it as best as possible. The other flaws, doesn’t keep the coffee that hot really, also it’s not enough espresso, it seems like a little less than a shot. Plus if you want to make more, it’s sort of best to let everything dry. I suppose you make another 3/4 shot when everything is wet. Also drying takes rather long! You have to shake and make sure all the water is out before putting it back together. But if you are traveling you can wait until you get home. Or just leave it open to air out. I do like the taste of the espresso shot, you get that cream too which is very nice. Plus the coffee isn’t burnt or so bitter, unless you have old beans of course. So I’m pleased with that. I think it’s a start for a decent design but I do think they should fix some of the flaws. We’ve been using this everyday and so far the press part works fine. I can see this could be difficult for someone with arthritis. But as far as the quality of the espresso, it is nice although I wish the coffee stayed sort of hot. This serves a purpose, prob best for traveling or camping, maybe not for everyday usage. I gave it 3 stars because of design flaws. Maybe I would have given it 3.5 stars if I could. I would even pay more if this were made out of some sort of safe metal. Best ... show more

  • BARISTA APPROVED: 11/10 spro
This mini espresso machine has saved my life. I work at a hipster 3rd wave coffee shop and I like to drink GOOD espresso. I'm addicted to coffee, but I can't go to grandma's house and drink bad Folgers for a week. I can't pretend that French vanilla creamer makes a 3-hour old pot of coffee made with 6-month old beans taste good. But I CAN FINALLY DRINK GOOD ESPRESSO no matter where I am. I bring my own beans, grind them, and make perfect espresso every time. Literally all it takes is some hot water. I've made espresso on the beach, by the river, and in a cabin. It blows people's mind to have a hot americano or nice iced latte come from this little guy. It's compact, easy to clean, and makes great spro. Worth every penny, and would be a great gift for any espresso connoisseur in your life. ... show more
