I bought these cups back in February,i have always used Anchor Hocking products,they are reliable and trusted,I use the cups for my morning hot latte, tea ,milkshakes etc ,they are a daily in my kitchen,never had a problem ,they are well made and very solid,it does have some imperfections but not all cups and you can still use them,the most important in my opinion is that they don't have forever chemicals and are made in USA,as all glass you have to be careful when you pour hot drinks in it,make sure the cups are room temperature before putting hot drinks.

Love these coffee cups. They are larger mugs and hold a lot of coffee. Major plus is that they are dishwasher safe. Fairly heavy with a good weight.

TL;DR - recent reviews about poor quality are correct. I would not purchase this item. I have had very good experiences with this product in the past. I've purchased these glasses several times over the past 10 or so years. Prior purchases were not on Amazon. Over time, I would inevitable break a glass here or there (my fault, not the quality of the glass). Because I trusted the quality of these glasses, I purchased a new 6-pack of these glasses in 2020. They matched the high quality of the older glasses that they were replacing. Again, I inevitably broke a few glasses (my fault, not the quality of the product) over the last 2 years and decided to "Buy Again" on Amazon in early 2022. Despite seeing recent poor reviews of the product, I went ahead and purchased the same 6-pack that I had purchased 2 years prior based on my past experience with the quality of this product. The first box that I received in my recent 2022 order contained 1 chipped glass and several other glasses where the base was warped (wobbled on the counter) and the seams in the glass were rough. Amazon processed a return and promptly shipped me another 6-pack. In the new package, several bases were again warped which made them wobble and seams in the glass were again very rough. Out of the 12 (2 x 6-packs) that were shipped to me, I could barely put together 6 glasses that were "acceptable" quality - and shipped back the remaining poor quality 6 as part of the return. Over the last month, I've had to additionally throw away 2 of the 6 new glasses due to chipping in the dishwasher. In summary: I have been very disappointed with the recent quality of this product. Same versions of this product that were purchased in 2020 and earlier were excellent quality. Recent purchases of this product were poor quality. I have not yet found a suitable replacement for this product.

I wanted to write this review because when I wanted to buy a glass mug set, I read the reviews for this product, and was on the fence. First, I think these cups aren't exactly beautiful, but they aren't hideous. I'd give them a good rating on looks if I were looking for another unremarkable mug, so I took off half a star here, because, let's be honest, if I were to break them all, I wouldn't worry about replacing something like this because of their generic look, nothing fancy, nothing attractive, just plain glass. The other half star came off with a similar problem as other people, the ridge of doom. First, I would REALLY like to point out that the ridge of doom (now shortened to ROD) really isn't that bad, but seeing everyone else's reviews, I would think that I would lose a finger by cutting it or losing circulation to the ROD. However, it's really not that bad. I take off 1/2 a star, now making it a 4 star rating, because the ridge is rather ugly, but not painful, or anything else that was described by others. No, it really doesn't require you to change how you hold your cup (I rolled my eyes so much after reading that review) nor does it interfere with your ability to use the mug like any other mug. It's just a bit of an eyesore, with a noticeable bump in the handle. It's just another reason I wouldn't lose any sleep if I accidentally broke them all. All my cups are even, as a response to the person saying they have crooked cups. I don't know how they could have been crooked, but I'm sure returning and getting another set would have fixed it. Overall, I'd say that this mug is decent. It's clear, so it's a bit nicer to see a well-made cappuccino than a porcelain mug, but it isn't anything special. I'd buy it again, or maybe a smaller mug, since it's cheaper than a beautiful cup, and it's more easily replaceable, but if I wanted a prettier mug, this isn't it.

They arrives today and they were fine, except one had a jagged uneven string of globby gl a ss down the side of it. I asked for a replacement of the damaged cup. I will keep you updated. The rest were fine. I always pick Anchor Hocking products, when I can find them. They are the best. Update CS contacted me and they are replacing it. A very quick response and I am happy.

Update: I bought another 6 of these in the fall of 2025 and this batch had a pronounced sharpish, rough edge "ridge" on the handle, likely from the mold. It was disappointing because I really like this design. I bought a diamond file and cleaned it up some, but I shouldn't have to. Review down to 3 stars from 5. I bought 6 of these in the fall of 2021. I'm looking at another hundred to donate to a facility I volunteer for because I like them so much and their current mugs are unsatisfactory. The mugs are durable. I haven't had a single one chip or crack over three years of ordinary daily use. I use them for tea so they get a thermal shock of 200 degree water repeatedly throughout the day. No problems. They are dishwasher safe. I often hand-wash, but about 75% of the time they are wash in a dishwasher and they have survived just fine over three years. The capacity is nice. I brew my tea from loose leaves and I load my tea strainer to make more than one standard tea cup. I also don't want to mess around making two cups of tea when I can make one big one. This is perfect for me. I like the style. The flare base is stable and attractive. The handle is nice when the tea is hot. I like the heft and hand-feel of the mug, especially on a cold day. Obviously, I would buy these again. They are my "go to" mug and I feel put out if I don't have one clean in the morning. Like my cast iron pan, I cannot imagine breakfast without these mugs, as they are imprinted on me at this point. I pack one for long trips, for what it's worth. I think that says something about the mug, or perhaps me, not sure. Both? Look, it's a mug. It won't change your life, but it's a pretty nice mug.

These are really pretty and elevate morning coffee routine! I had tried the insulated ones from a different company before this thinking that would be better but the lip of the coffee cup was too thick much prefer the glass really good deal too. I like the 16 ounce size. It allows me to froth my cream without a big mess.
