So I was very happy with the product. It was very sturdy. I went through a lot of Amazon reviews on different products to get to this product because for me it was all about being sturdy. I’ve got I don’t have light expandable hose. I’ve got heavy full weight hose and I’ve got 100 feet of it, I have 2 50 foot sections foot of hose so I bought two. 1 for each 50 foot section and it’s looks from the street like it’s something that’s mounted to the house. I’ve got concrete block wall so I didn’t want to drill into the house. The steaks that go into the ground go far enough to support the weight of the hose and it structurally very sound. There are no paint defects on it. It was easy to put together , so I will probably buy another one because I’ve got another hose that I put on the other side of the house. Good value. ... show more

The holder was simple to assemble, easy to push into ground with the two spikes in each side. Appears to be very stable in holding about 60 feet of hose. Attractive style and has two hooks ok N the back hose accessories.

This works well for my 100ft clot-type hose. Super sturdy, does not lean, clean design. Was very simple to put together. Item arrived with a few scratches on the finish, but I've noticed this happens on most things I order like this. I decided not to hassle with an exchange.

    • More Durable Than I Thought it Was Going to Be
I found that the key during assembly is to just use an impact driver instead of the included tools. So much faster. The other secret to these kinds of things it to dig a 20x12x6 inch hole in the ground and stake it inside the hole for extra stability. Then you can cover it with dirt and heavy rocks. Finally, zip-tie'ing or paracording the top to a tree or to the house helps with stability too. After doing both of those things I didn't have any issue wrapping a 100ft 3/4" Continental hose on it. (and those things weigh a lot!) Other thoughts: If you're looking for a hose that won't kink and is durable and lightweight check out the 100ft 5/8" Gorilla ToughLite. (Best for residential setting IMO) If you want the world's heaviest duty commercial grade (like you work in an auto-shop) hose, the 100ft 3/4 inch Continental hose. ... show more

Our last holder rusted so we got this as a replacement. It’s holding the hose nicely. I actually like this one a little better than the last one because it is a square, it keeps the hose wound up in a much wider loop so it is much easier to use when you get it off the holder. This was easy to put together and easy to insert. However it's important that you make sure you're level when inserting it into the ground otherwise it doesn't feel sturdy. It held our 50 ft garden house and has a hook on the back that's handy for hanging the garden nozzle or sprinkler.
