First time wrapping with any vinyl at the time. I have since tried 3m and Oracle. This stuff is easy to work with...on flat surfaces only! It takes practice, but you must use excessive amounts of heat and time, unlike 3M . Trying to get this around sharp corners or any corner is hard, and you you have to blast the hell out of it to get it to stick to anything! trimming on curves, around door handles and other trim, was the hardest part. After i did my dash, i managed to wrap my A pillars, but did itnin three sections. It was a pain in the ass at first, took me about 3 hours for the first one, and about 90 mins for the second one. Im not a patient person, so that probably had something to do with it. Also helps to hold the knife at a 30 degree angle. Bought a seperate knife from Michaels, forget what its called but its orange and white and super sharp! The Vvivid matte metallic copper rust looks orange, brownish- orange, copper, and copper-gold depending on how rhe light hits it. Too dark and it just looks orange, so be aware of that. I used 3m gloss blk on my window trim, my exterior door handles and tailight trim-More $, but it also requires very little heat, is nearly as good as vivvid finishes but its much easier to work with that vvvid. I give 3m the overall win just because vvvod can be a pain to stick!

i didn't use this on a car although it seems it would look great, but i used it on ceiling fan blades to do a custom look to an all white fan that i wanted to match my furniture. a heat gun on low and it conformed easy. black gloss, and chrome spray paint along with this wrap, turned out great.

My brown canvas convertible top & orange-ish brown interior leather had me scratching my head about what color to use for racing stripes. Until I saw this deep, metallic-flake-enriched color. You can see in the picture that I used it to create Cobra-style dual racing stripes on my hood & trunk. The film is thick & needs heat to stretch. I found it hard (as a beginner) to not overstretch & discolor its finish. So not the best for a true beginner, but now since I've had more experience (did a full car wrap with Avery) I think I would have little problem avoiding overstretching this very nice film were I to use it again. Recommend!

*update the seller did help, +2 more stars* I really like this wrap and it's decent quality but unfortunately when it arrived it was damaged. I the roll had a puncher 4 layers deep. This set me back on being able to wrap my whole car. I lost about 6 ft.
