I love this shoe rack! I needed one that would hold 50 pairs of shoes and this does. If your shoes are wide, you wouldn't be able to fit 5 per shelf, like some of my boots. You could place every other shoe facing forward to try and fit more. It is very tall, and each shelf is pretty short so you can't fit boots anywhere except the top shelf. I didn't love the tall and narrow look in my room so I opted to take half of it down and put them next to each other. This worked really well for me since I have more than 5 pairs of tall shoes, now I have two top shelves and can fit 10 pairs. The only thing I don't love is the cloth shelf pieces. They sag down a little when I put my shoes on there. It isn't too bad but I imagine they'll wear over time and sag more. But for the price of the unit, I can live with it. It's still a great buy and I can't recommend it enough. ... show more

Our discs were unorganized, and I had been trying to find a shelf that wasn't $180+ just because it was meant for discs. This shelf may not be the nicest in quality, but it gets the job done. I skipped every other front rod, and on the opposite I added the cloth because the gap between the front to back is too big to hold the discs without them. With the extra rods left over, we turned the hooks facing inside instead of out, and placed rods on each hook connecting the opposite side on the top. I like the rack itself. It's not too difficult to assemble and looked nice. But the center columns kept disassembling, the little pipes slipped out of the slots. First time I thought we didn't mallet them in enough (my kids helped assemble. But the second time (you really have to disassemble fully to fix) I did it myself and felt they were pretty strong but still popped out once I started to use it. So third time I added a david Krazy glue to each slot and it's much more stable. ... show more
