This is our 3rd Vtech system. They work great and are easy to use but the battery goes out quickly. After a few months of use it has to be plugged in to stay charged. However it easily picks up sound, shows a clear picture and has a big enough screen that I can see both my kiddos easily. Overall very impressed with the purchased. I was able to get it on a sale for like 20% off and was worried about the quality. My goal was for a product that was wifi only with ability to move around and good sound/mic quality and it hits all the boxes. Bonus of a large screen. I was concerned about of the F grade on the reviews, but came out moderately impressed given there are more expensive models that I could've gone for. Battery life - seems to be solid although its hard to tell. Our baby is on the way so have not put this to the test yet. My main gripe is that they choose to use a proprietary connector when they could've easily used as USB-C or any common connector so you can just plug it now. Now you have to have it plugged in with their charge. Size - 7" screen. fantastic. My MIL always squints so shes going to appreciate this when shes helping out Screen/Quality/Brightness: quality of images isn't like going to be ultraHD unfortunately. I'd say they are close to 720p at the most, but enough to see all the details of what's going on. Camera: Very responsive with minimal lag. Quiet in movements although can hear it. Sound and mic quality great. Pivoting up and down with nearly 360 turning is fantastic. Overall, for this price point, would give it 5 stars. There's obviously better improvements to be had, but you would be hard pressed to find them with 2 cameras and this large of a screen. Even if you take the price out of it, I'd still be giving this about 4 stars as there are options with better camera quality and probably mic sensitivity. ... show more

Everyone RAVED about this camera & im extremely disappointed!! I've never written a review but this time, I will. The sound on this monitor is so extremely quiet. Unless the room has no sound, and you're holding it to ur ear like a phone, you can't barely hear it.. Not to mention, the night time quality it's extremely choppy. I couldn't even make out my baby's face. He has extremely bad asthma so a clear view is a necessity at night time so I can make sure of certain things. Another very big downfall is that during the split screen mode, there is no sound at all! I will be returning and going back to hellobaby. This camera set seems like it would last a long time.. but it's "bulky" . The monitor alone is heavy, it truly needs more than one kickstand to hold it up.. it seems fancy, but it's honestly not. They cut a lot of corners with this cam set. Not worth the $, that's for sure. ... show more

Love how big the screen is and the many functions it has. I also love the ability to spin the camera around from the monitor. However one of my cameras seems to have an issue where the screen is blank and the sound comes through very choppy. The only fix I have found for that is to unplug the camera and plug it back in. The set up was very easy and the battery seems to last a while. The stand on the back is awful it’s too small and not in the center but it has already broken off now. ... show more

We have newborn twins and purchased this because of the two cameras / split screen mode options. We are super impressed! We have only used the system for one week, but so far, so good! The image is clear, and when the camera is positioned well, the 4x zoom lets me see the rise and fall of their chests. The volume isn't extremely loud, but is definitely loud enough. The corner of the screen also lights up when there's sound. We also appreciate the temperature being displayed on the screen for each room, and how simple the menu is to navigate. We charge it during the day and the battery lasts easily all night and then some. The babies also seemed to like the music feature. My only feedback to the makers would be--the little kickstand/prop in the back isn't centered, so the monitor falls easily when on a soft surface like carpet or bedding...and I like that the buttons don't light up because it means the monitor isn't brighter than it needs to be, but they're hard to distinguish in the dark by feeling, so making them a little more raised would be helpful. Also, an option for the monitor screen to not be so bright :) but these would be bonuses. This system has been SO convenient for twins! Once the babies are sleeping in the same bedroom, we plan to use the second camera in our play area. ... show more

I really wanted to love this monitor system because it has some genuinely great features. The patrol mode is probably my favorite part because it automatically alternates between both cameras, which is super convenient when monitoring multiple kids or rooms. Setup was easy, connection has been reliable, and the large 7” screen is nice to have. Unfortunately, there are several issues that make this feel overpriced for the quality provided. The screen/video quality is not very impressive, especially at night. It becomes even worse in Split View mode, where the picture quality noticeably drops and looks much less clear than expected. The temperature feature on mine also seems very inaccurate and is consistently off by around 5 to 6 degrees, which makes it difficult to trust or rely on. It’s currently 72 degrees in my house but the camera/monitor is showing it’s 77. I also noticed that the power and volume down buttons are slightly recessed/misaligned on one side. They still work, but for a monitor system at this price point, I expected better overall quality and a more premium feel. Overall, the monitor is usable and has some features I genuinely enjoy, but the picture quality and inaccurate temperature readings keep it from feeling worth the price.
